It'll be interesting to see what Gary O'Neil's Wolves do now. They had a game plan to sit back and invite Newcastle onto them and they hit them on the break. But now they have to chase the game. The longer the game goes, the better Newcastle are becoming.

Wolves have responded really well to going behind.

Matheus Cunha runs with the ball, beating one man and then a second on the edge of the box before firing a low shot that Nick Pope tips past the post.

I was a fully paid up member of the goalkeepers union but now I've come this side of the fence I can be honest - he's dropped that one. He's come out to collect the cross, he's bumped into two players and neither were looking at the goalkeeper. He's made contact with his own player and he's taken his eye off the ball. In this wet weather you can't do that and Callum Wilson has pounced.

Nelson Semedo tries to wrestle his way on to the ball on the right after it fired his way, but he is adjudged to have fouled Dan Burn. A bit soft.

Callum Wilson should really score with his first attempt, but it is a sign of just how good a goalscorer he is that he is able to adjust quickly to put in the rebound.

That is his sixth goal of the season.

Bournemouth

Philip Billing, Bournemouth midfielder: “It’s nice to get our first [league] win of the season. Today was a six-pointer and it’s been too long since we last won. You could sense the nerves around the ground for both teams."

On his goal: “[The move] starts high, I intercepted the ball. I looked up quickly and thought I’ll have a go. Luckily it went in."

Kieran Trippier plays a loose ball into the middle of his own half and it allows Wolves to nick it. Matheus Cunha is set up for an effort from the edge of the box but it is straight at Nick Pope.

Looks sharp Callum Wilson, doesn't he?

This is a test for Eddie Howe's squad and it's also a test for Wilson. Can he keep himself fit? We know Isak is going to be out for a while. This is Callum Wilson's opportunity. You look at his record, 5 Premier League goals, one every 66 minutes at the moment and that's the best of any player that's played over 90 minutes.

His record is there - it's just his fitness. Can he stay fit?

Bournemouth

Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraola, speaking to BBC Match of the Day: "I feel relief. I think we needed this one. It was obvious we were facing a team in a similar condition. It’s a huge win for us.

"We were pressing really high after conceding the first goal. Everything looked like it was going to be tough, but the first half especially was really, really good.

"We haven’t been reliable, especially at the back. We need to improve these things if we want to continue having the wins."

On the VAR review for Jay Rodriguez's disallowed goal: "I don’t know how many [minutes] it was. I was telling them take your time, but make the right call. We don’t want to receive the apologies."

It remains an open game. Two sides taking swings at each other.

Brilliant work from Rayan Ait-Nouri down the left sees him swivel past one man, dink the ball past another and then fire a low ball inside for Hwang Hee-chan, but his control lets him down.

Wolves are still able to fashion a shot for Boubacar Traore, but it's tame.

Started well Wolves. Coming off the back of a four game unbeaten run. This is Newcastle's first real test of the season.

They've had an indifferent start. They've picked that up, they've got the results, but they've struggled away from home. Coming here today off the back of a disappointing Champions League game, with injuries, with suspensions - it's a real test for them.

Wolves hit back with some good pressing up top that eventually brings them another corner.

A fine Newcastle move sends Sean Longstaff running towards goal with the ball at his feet. He pulls his shot slightly and sends it just past the far post.

Dan Burn with more defending to do, stepping in to stop Wolves getting a shot away. It comes at the cost of a couple of corners in succession, the second of which prompts a scramble and then a wild shot from Rayan Ait-Nouri.
