I wonder how Kalvin Phillips felt last season, Manchester City mopping up most of the trophies. He wouldn't have felt part of it I'm sure of that.
He trains with them every day but didn't have the game time I'm sure he felt he would've had when he joined the club. Clearly something is amiss because Pep Guardiola doesn't play him regularly.
Manchester City 3-1 Red Star Belgrade
A triple change for Pep Guardiola. Oscar Bobb, a 20-year-old Norwegian central midfielder, England international midfielder Kalvin Phillips and 18-year-old full-back Rico Lewis get a bit of time to impress.
Phil Foden, Rodri and Ruben Dias are the trio replaced.
Manchester City 3-1 Red Star Belgrade
Earlier, Manchester City goalkeeper Ederson showed the skill of a number 10 with a Cruyff turn when outside the penalty area, now his perfect control to beautifully bring down a long ball pumped forward is something a number eight would be proud of.
Manchester City 3-1 Red Star Belgrade
Manchester City, normally so ruthless in front of goal, are going at a rate of 11 chances per goal tonight. Thirty-three chances, three goals. Erling Haaland missed the latest one, heading over when under pressure.
Alireza Jahanbakhsh
Nine-man Celtic's evening worsens.
This time Feyenoord do double their advantage after they had an earlier goal chalked off for offside.
Alireza Jahanbakhsh is left unmarked in the penalty area and thunders home.

Opeyemi: The most gifted and unassuming player has to be Rodri. Back-to-back CL goals.

You cannot let Phil Foden inside on that left foot and have a free shot. That's what the Red Star defence did and he wasn't far away.
Manchester City 3-1 Red Star Belgrade
Wonderful technique and skill from Julian Alvarez to skip past a challenge, his low cross can't find Erling Haaland and the ball eventually falls to Phil Foden but the England man can't keep his strike down from the edge of the penalty area.
City a delight to watch at the moment.

Just such brilliant awareness from Rodri.
He sees the space and drives into it in the left-hand side of the box. He curls the ball into the far corner and boy does he do it well. Such an accomplished finish.
No chance for Glazer. 3-1, game over.
Rodri
His last goal in the Champions League won the competition for Manchester City, his latest one has surely won them this match.
Rodri strolls unchallenged into the penalty area and produces the calmest of finishes as he passes the ball, curling it into the far corner, past Omri Glazer. Great technique and Manchester City are finally getting the goals they have deserved today.
Feyenoord 1-0 Celtic
Celtic are down to nine men against Feyenoord, with Odin Holm being shown a straight red card.
Manchester City 2-1 Red Star Belgrade
Jeremy Doku plays an inadvertent one-two with Matheus Nunes, but Doku can't squeeze the ball in at the near post as a couple of sliding Red Star defenders keep it out.
Joao Felix (66 mins)
A second of the night for Joao Felix, and a fifth for Barca.
It's all about the left-footed cross by Raphinha, the former Leeds man cutting back on the right wing before sending over an undefendable cross which Felix nods home at the far post.
It's getting ugly for the Belgians.
Feyenoord 1-0 Celtic
Joe Hart has just saved a Feyenoord penalty with Celtic, trailing 1-0, down to 10 men.
Manchester City 2-1 Red Star Belgrade
Erling Haaland will be wondering how he hasn't got a goal today. He is found at the back post and heads down, but Omri Glazer saves with his legs.
Moments later Julian Alvarez thinks he has got his potential third (although the second may still be taken away from him), but can only hit the side netting.

This is awful goalkeeping. Julian Alvarez tried to beat the goalkeeper at his near post. Manchester City get runners across the goalkeeper's eyeline but I don't think he's ever unsighted, he just makes a right hash of it.
Manchester City in front with a bit of fortune.
Julian Alvarez
City lead. Omri Glazer was the star of the first half, but a moment to forget for him there.
Julian Alvarez is over a free-kick to the left side of the penalty area and swings it in. Glazer goes to punch it, but gets it all wrong and punches it into his own net.
Alvarez is credited with the goal at the moment, which would be his second, but it could well go down as an own goal from the keeper.

It is worth remembering this will be the last season of the Champions League under the present format of eight groups of four.
From next term, 36 teams will form one table - two will enter outside of the normal qualification process. The actual countries they come from will be determined by the overall performance of each individual country they come from, although most observers expect England to get a fifth spot.
All clubs will play eight matches against clubs of various strengths, with the 'top eight' going straight through to the last 16 and the clubs finishing nine to 24 making the play-offs.
It potentially means an extra four games to reach the final.
Achraf Hakimi (58 mins)
An absolutely beautiful goal.
Sensational from Vitinha, who plays a perfect backheel to Achraf Hakimi before exchanging passes with the onrushing right back.
Hakimi then cuts inside and finishes with the outside of his boot against his former club.
