That fella should be disciplined for swapping shirts. Pitiful behaviour. Unbecoming of a footballer in any league of any standard.

No hat-trick for Haaland tonight but he does get a standing ovation as Kalvin Phillips and Oscar Bobb come on.

Another super shift from City's exceptional No 9.

I'd just like to make it clear that Haaland didn't swap shirts!!! He gave his away in an action that he looked offended and embarrassed.

Pep Guardiola is frantically scribbling something down on his notebook. A near-perfect night for the Manchester City boss.

His side are cruising into the last-16.

  7. Giroud heads Milan in frontpublished at 21:15 Greenwich Mean Time 7 November 2023

    AC Milan 2-1 Paris St-Germain

Olivier Giroud gives Milan the lead with a trademark bullet header.

A foul on Rafael Leao causes the PSG players to switch off in the box and Giroud gets on the end of a deep cross into the box from Theo Hernandez.

Group F is continuing to deliver brilliant games.

I'm a City fan, but whether that goal should count after the shirt swap is debatable.

    Ben

I don't think they were swapping shirts as such. Apparently some leagues abroad do do this, I think Haaland was just being polite (I did not see him take the shirt off his opponent)

    What a hit that is!

He should be asking for his shirt after that one. There was only one thing on his mind when he got half a yard.

  10. RED CARD - Sandro Lauperpublished at 53 mins

    Man City 3-0 Young Boys

Trailing 3-0 and now down to 10...not a good night for the Swiss.

Some will argue Sandro Lauper should have gone earlier but he's off now after a second yellow.

Young Boys face an impossible task.

    Erling Haaland

All the Young Boys players will be demanding Erling Haaland's shirt after this!

A 20- yard rocket from the City forward puts the hosts in complete control.

Credit to young Rico Lewis who was heavily involved in the move before Haaland let fly.

Erling Haaland's half-time shirt swap appears to have caused a stir...

Let us know what you think about it.

Re 20:58 - I doubt Haaland will lose too much sleep on Roy Keane's view, somehow...

    Daniel

SWAPPING SHIRTS AT HALF-TIME IS A DISGRACE & TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!!

Milan Skriniar gave PSG an early lead before Rafael Leao's acrobatic effort drew the scores level.

An entertaining game so far with both sides creating promising chances.

Ousmane Dembele hit the crossbar and then Olivier Giroud hit the side netting on the counter minutes later.

It has been an end-to-end contest.

    Gary Lineker will be fuming...

Erling Haaland was given a challenge during the Ballon d'Or ceremony when he was given his top scorer award by the former England striker and ex-Chelsea man Didier Drogba.

He was then challenged to celebrate a goal with either Drogba or Lineker's celebrations.

He opted for Didier's arms routine.

Earlier in the Champions League Barcelona missed out on becoming the first side to reach the knockout stages after a narrow loss to Shakhtar Donetsk.

Danylo Sikan scored the game's only goal, meeting Giorgi Gocholeishvili's cross with a looping header.

Barcelona had only needed a point in Hamburg to advance from Group H with two matches to spare.

But, despite dominating possession, the visitors were unable to break down the Ukrainian champions.

Manchester City will become the first team to reach the knockout stage if they finish the job. That's because Barcelona lost earlier.
