It's just not Brennan Johnson's night tonight is it.
Latvia 0-1 Wales
Ben Davies does well to read play and make an interception.
He's then fouled, but, with the advantage from the referee, Jordan James threads through to Brennan Johnson who drags a shot wide from a tight angle.

Wales have only lost one game when Aaron Ramsey has scored.
That was in 2013 away to Macedonia, 2-1, and he scored from the penalty spot.
But lets leave that lie shall we?
Latvia 0-1 Wales
Wales waste two opportunities to get the ball into the box from the left after Aaron Ramsey goes short from a corner.
Nevertheless, Robert Page's side are on the front foot from the outset of the second half.

Wales will stay fourth in Group D as things stand but, crucially, they will close the gap to Croatia and Turkey to just three points.

There was wave after wave of Welsh attack and they were looking really exciting, but there comes a time when you've got to be ruthless in front of goal.
For 40 minutes I was loving life, I almost didn't recognise the Wales team I was watching.

It's just poor finishing, it's as simple as that.
You're either ruthless or you're not. It's poor decision-making.
The keeper's on eggshells, for the penalty he was laying down before Aaron Ramsey kicked the ball, so just hit the target.

We're just being too nice in front of goal. You've got to be ruthless, we've had so many chances.
You can't afford to do that and it will only give Latvia a little bit of hope - they were smashed a few days ago.
I just feel another goal will put Latvia to bed.

Put your foot on the pedal even more.
As soon as you come out for the second half, start high tempo and put the press on them.

I have to say, it's a brilliant atmosphere seeing fans mix like this.
So often fans get a raw deal, but the Wales fans have been impeccable all [qualifying] tournament, everywhere they go.
All in all, a very good 45 minutes from Wales. Robert Page's men have dominated and, truth be told, should be further ahead.
Aaron Ramsey's 21st international goal has the visitors in front, but Latvia improved late on there and created some decent chances having been second-best for most of the half.
A big 45 to come after the break.

We'll have two minutes of added time here.
