Brighton 1-2 AEK Athens
Joao Pedro has gone down again in the box but the referee is having none of it. He did that in the first half and it turned out to be a penalty.
VAR will certainly have a look...

That was a pretty lengthy stoppage at the Amex so we'll certainly have a significant amount of time added on you would think.
Milad Mohammadi intercepts in his own half and releases Levi Garcia, whose looping effort is weak and easily collected by Jason Steele.
West Ham 0-1 Backa Topola
Ward-Prowse's free-kick is easily caught by Nikola Simic in the Backa Topola net.

I think you cannot underestimate the importance of simple experience in European competition. Man City have had the best team on paper for many years but only last season managed to win the CL. Brighton and Newcastle have been lighting up the Premier League but will likely struggle in their groups. A few more seasons in the competitions and they will be more adept, but qualification is difficult to guarantee.

West Ham 0-1 Backa Topola
Another West Ham free-kick on the edge of the box coming up.
This one might be a little too wide for James Ward-Prowse to go straight for goal though.
Brighton 1-2 AEK Athens
This doesn't look good for Ehsan Hajisafi. He is having to be taken off on a stretcher.
Let's hope that's not as serious as it looks for the Iran captain.
Milad Mohammadi is on in his place.
West Ham 0-1 Backa Topola
Michail Antonio is warming up. West Ham need goals.
West Ham 0-1 Backa Topola
Angelo Ogbonna goes down in the Backa Topola box but Slovakian referee Filip Glova isn't convinced.
He waves play on and VAR backs up his call.
Ogbonna was trying to buy a penalty there, hitting the deck under minimal pressure as a cross came in.

I think I spotted James Milner cursing to himself as he made his way down the tunnel.
At 37, Milner doesn't have too long left in the game and the former England man can well do without a spell on the sidelines with a muscular injury.
Brighton 1-2 AEK Athens
Roberto de Zerbi is going to use the break in play as an opportunity to make a change and James Milner is coming off for Tariq Lamptey.

Angelo Ogbonna has had an absolute shocker.
Doesn't know whether to go back to the goalkeeper, ends up slipping and trying to bring down the striker Stanic, and you have to say it's a great finish.
Backa Toppola have deserved it. The last ten minutes of the first half and certainly the start of this second half they were the better team, and had the better chances.
Brighton 1-2 AEK Athens
Clash of heads in the box from the corner and it's Ehsan Hajisafi and Jan Paul van Hecke who find themselves on the turf.
Van Hecke is quickly up to his feet but not looking as positive for Hajisafi who requires some attention.
West Ham 0-1 Backa Topola
Backa Topola are competing in a major European competition for the first time in their history remember.
West Ham have two major European trophies to their name.
Brighton 1-2 AEK Athens
Brighton have a free-kick in a dangerous area, Solly March to take.
Brighton make things complicated, though, and March somehow ends up taking it out wide to the left and AEK Athens concede a corner.
Petar Stanic (47 mins)
The shock of the night?
Serbian leaders Backa Topola are ahead against West Ham at the London Stadium!
It's a horror show from Angelo Ogbonna who's far too casual on the ball and he's tacked by Petar Stanic on the halfway line.
The forward, with nobody around him, runs 40 yards before placing the ball past Lukasz Fabianski.
West Ham are stunned. Backa Topola's small pocket of fans can't believe it.
Brighton 1-2 AEK Athens
Igor Julio goes into the book for a tough but necessary challenge in the middle of the park.
Djibril Sidibe also finds himself in there for messing around with where the resulting free-kick was being taken.
West Ham 0-0 Backa Topola
Back to it at the London Stadium.
Aaron Cresswell, who was limping at the end of the first half, is replaced by Emerson.

Brighton showing with their team selection and performance that an away game at Man United is more important than their first ever European game. A bit sad.

We're back under way at the Amex. Can Brighton get back into this?
