Now then, Joao Pedro is clipped inside the box and the Brighton fans are convinced that should be a penalty.
The referee sees it the other way, though and Pedro is booked for diving. Replays show he does catch him.

Mohammed Kudus almost has a goal on his first West Ham start as a shot from range deflects wickedly away from Nikola Simic and just wide of the post.
From the corner, Konstantinos Mavropanos rises highest to meet James Ward-Prowse's cross, but his header bounces narrowly off target.

Brighton just look a bit shellshocked at the moment.
They did get a foothold in the game, with three corners on the bounce, although didn't manage to get a shot on target from any of them.

Alex: How bizarre that both Liverpool and Brighton conceded the first goals in their games to fairly straightforward training ground corner routines, with both teams completely failing to pick up the man on the edge of the box.
Daniel: Yes, it's a tough group, but the pressure is on Marseille and Ajax. This will be a chance for Brighton to show itself to Europe. The boys deserve their chance, as does De Zerbi. What he's done for the club is phenomenal.

An absolutely fantastic header from Sidibe, left Jason Steele with no chance.
The corner has dropped to the edge of the box and he has just stooped for a diving header and arrowed it into the top corner.
