A third consecutive season in Europe for David Moyes and West Ham begins at home to Serbian SuperLiga side TSC Bačka Topola.

Last season was one for the Hammers' history books, a late goal from Jarrod Bowen sealed the club's second European trophy, as they beat Fiorentina to the Europa Conference League crown in Prague.

Their group in this season's Europa League also contains Greek side Olympiakos and Germans Freiburg.

West Ham reached the semi-finals of the competition in 2021-22, losing out to eventual champions Eintracht Frankfurt.

With their first European triumph already secured, can they go one stage further this campaign?

Last season Brighton qualified for European football for the first time in the club's 122-year history.

It doesn't feel like there's anything in this for Villa but you never know.

Moussa Diaby gets on a good run down the right-hand side and goes for goal but the goalkeeper has come right out and manages to save with his legs.

Looks like Legia will just run down the clock by making some more changes.

The best opportunity of these later stages falls to Jacob Ramsey.

It comes to him from the right and he tries to whip it into the near post with his right foot but it's well wide. Big chance for Villa and they are running out of time to get something from this.

Leon Bailey is on the deck again. This time from a Yuri Ribeiro challenge and the Legia man goes straight into the book.

No complaints from Ribeiro and Bailey has certainly taken a bit of shoving around this evening.

LASK have half a chance from a long throw but Robert Zulj's hooked volley skids wide.

There's also a coming together in the Liverpool box as Philipp Ziereis goes down under the challenge of Kostas Tsimikas.

The LASK defender is trying to buy a decision though and play is rightly waved on.

Leon Bailey falls awkwardly under a Patryk Kun challenge. He stays on the ground as Legia get on the counter and the referee eventually pulls it back.

Looks like Bailey is fine to continue, though.
