Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraola had a word with midfielder Alex Scott before he went down the tunnel.

The youngster only made his Cherries debut a fortnight ago after picking up an injury just before his £25m summer move from Bristol City.

Now Scott looks set for another spell on the sidelines. He was not moving well at all as he made his way to the visiting dressing room.

I absolutely love what Thomas Frank is doing at Brentford. Yes, they're behind at home, but it's still great entertainment and it puts the likes of United and Chelsea to shame in terms of application of effort.

    Man City 3-0 Bournemouth

    Simon Stone
BBC Sport at the Etihad Stadium

Just before the half-time whistle blew, Erling Haaland didn't make a move towards a low cross into the Bournemouth box.

He didn't appear to be moving quite right and when the whistle finally went he flexed his leg a couple of times as he was speaking to Julian Alvarez.

There was clearly an issue. Pep Guardiola will hope it is not serious.
