Chelsea forward Cole Palmer, speaking to Sky Sports: "Very strange the first time I have played against City - I have the upmost respect for the club I spent 15 years at and it is nice to see some friends.

"Unlucky to not get the win. I have many City fans I know but it is the game."

On his penalty: "Long time waiting but I felt confident and I have had a few now. Kept calm and focused.

"Not going to say I work on them cause I don't I trust on my natural ability."

Often, these encounters between big six clubs on a Sunday afternoon fail to spark, struggle to deliver and leave you pondering if the day really warrants that 'Super' tag.

Not today, though. This was all we could have hoped for between two clubs who simply refused to lose.

I asked for Rocky v Drago earlier. It feels like it needs Pep and Mauricio to grab hold of the mic and make a speech about how they've both made changes.

    Mauricio Pochettino is raging!

He strides on to the pitch, waving his hand and shouting at the referee. He clearly feels the game should have continued for longer.

I mean, if I'm honest, I'd have happily let them play all night.

It's a hard challenge from Sterling and he's so late. It's completely mistimed. Foden being in the air prevents any serious injury.

What a penalty under that pressure, under a goalkeeper which knows him so well. The arrogance that lad has got... football arrogance. You are not saving that.

He may have just taken two points off them, nobody deserves to be a loser in this game.
