Striker Michail Antonio has described West Ham's recent displays as "slack", adding the team have been "a shambles".

The Hammers have lost to Aston Villa, Olympiakos and Everton in a worrying run of recent form.

"The team has been a bit of a shambles," Antonio told The Footballer's Football Podcast.

"Last three games, three losses, we've not really been performing at all. We've been a bit all over the place. It's not the standard we set from the beginning of the season. I just take it as a bit of a slump. Hopefully we can come back from it in the next couple of games.

"I can't really put it down to Everton. They played well. I just don't think we performed well enough. I don't think we kept the ball well enough, when we had the ball we kept giving it away. Our performances have been slack over the last week."

Antonio, 33, has not found the net since 26 August and has two goals to his name this season.

His Footballer's Football Podcast companion Callum Wilson has seven for Newcastle.

In a bid to find more goals, Antonio has thrown down a goalscoring challenge and hopes to make up ground and deliver a bigger tally than Wilson by the end of the season.

Antonio added: "I need something. Let's go for it. I need something to push me now."

Ipswich Town, who are second in the Championship, name a completely different starting 11 to the side that began the 3-2 win against Plymouth on Saturday.

Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has been keeping a low profile since Sunday's Old Trafford hammering by City.

He opted not to do a pre-match press conference ahead of tonight's EFL Cup tie with Newcastle.

Although that was not unusual for United in this competition, it did mean there was no chance to address the criticism that came his side's way for their awful performance at the weekend.

He has talked about it in his programme notes tonight.

"There is no point in feeling sorry for ourselves at the moment in time," he said.

"Nobody at this club enjoys a defeat, particularly in a Manchester derby.

"But everything we have achieved so far has been built on looking forward, which means we have to move on quickly from what happens, whether it is positive or negative."

After beating Burnley 2-1 in the Premier League on Saturday, Andoni Iraola makes three changes to his Bournemouth starting 11 for tonight's visit of Liverpool.

Adam Smith comes in and takes the captain's armband with Max Aarons dropping to the bench.

Hungary defender Milos Kerkez replaces Lloyd Kelly and Justin Kluivert is preferred to Marcus Tavernier.

Everton manager Sean Dyche is taking this one seriously naming a strong starting eleven.

There are only two changes from the side that beat West Ham on Sunday with Ashley Young and Arnaut Danjuma coming in for Nathan Patterson and Abdoulaye Doucoure.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin, surprisingly, gets the nod up front ahead of Beto.

It is going to be an emotional night at Goodison Park with Everton set to pay tribute to chairman Bill Kenwright, who died aged 78 last week.

Sean Dyche's side beat West Ham in the Premier League on Sunday but tonight's Carabao Cup last-16 tie against Burnley is their first home game since Kenwright's passing.

His death has touched many in football as well as the film and theatre industry, including an Instagram post from John Travolta which said: "Dear Bill, we will miss you and can't thank you enough for your kindness to Kelly and myself. We'll see you down the road, love JT.".

Flowers and messages have been left at the Dixie Dean statue including one on a red Liverpool scarf which read, "Maybe a Blue, but definitely a Scouser".

Club representatives will lay a wreath in the middle of the pitch before- kick-off and a minute's applause will be observed.

Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag is confident his team are moving in the right direction, despite Sunday's humiliating home defeat by Manchester City.

They face Newcastle in round four of the Carabao Cup tonight - a repeat of last season's EFL Cup final, which the Red Devils won 2-0.

The game comes three days after the sobering 3-0 home loss to City.

"There is no point in feeling sorry for ourselves," said Ten Hag.

"I continue to believe in these players."

Sunday's loss against neighbours City was their fifth Premier League defeat of the season and their seventh in all competitions - and brought fresh questions about Ten Hag's management credentials.

Ipswich's start to their return to the Championship has been remarkable.

They are currently enjoying the best start of any newly promoted second-tier side in EFL history. So far this campaign, in 13 league matches, they have won 11, drawing and losing just one game each.

They are currently nine points clear of third-placed Leeds - the only team to beat them this season - with a game in hand.

It goes without saying that they'll be confident of carrying on their stunning run tonight by overturning Premier League opposition. They've already beaten one top-flight side in the Carabao Cup this campaign, with Wolves going down 3-2 at Portman Road in the last round.

No Luis Diaz again as police continue to hunt for the Liverpool player's father who was kidnapped at gunpoint along with his wife on Saturday.

Diaz's mother was left behind in a car by the kidnappers as police closed in, but the gunmen dragged away Luis Manuel Díaz.

Residents of the Colombian town of Barrancas have held a candle-lit march to demand his release.

Specialised police units are searching the area with sniffer dogs.

Shouting "freedom" and dressed in white T-shirts emblazoned with a photo of Luis Manuel Díaz, hundreds of people marched through Barrancas on Tuesday.

"I feel a pain deep in my soul," resident Alis Amaya told local station Caracol news.

"It's an injustice that someone from our town, a son of a local family should be suffering this pain and sadness," she added.

Declan Rice has been named on the bench for Arsenal in his first game back at West Ham since his £105m move in the summer.

Arsenal midfielder Declan Rice is back at the club he left this summer.

The 24-year-old England player scored 15 goals in 245 games for West Ham, before joining the Gunners for £100m in the summer.

"You've got to remember this is the man who lifted this club's first European trophy in more than 50 years," said Hammers boss David Moyes.

"He should be welcomed back with open arms. We're all looking forward to seeing him again.

"He was a brilliant member of the team. He led the team brilliantly well. He conducted himself impeccably as a West Ham captain and as a player.

"The most important thing was that he gave 100% in every game, even though we sort of knew he probably wasn't going to stay at West Ham.

"He conducted himself brilliantly well and for that alone he deserves to be cheered.

"I'm really looking forward to seeing Dec again. I've not seen him since he left."
