Judith: All this talk of Poch. Surely it's no surprise. Won nothing at Spurs or Espanyol or Southampton. Won 2 cups at PSG, I think I could do that. Surely no great shocks.

Another injury for Newcastle. Joelinton with a problem to his left hamstring after Fabian Schar went off earlier on with what looked to be an issue with his right hamstring.

It came after a hectic minute for Joelinton. He had given the ball away, with Alex Iwobi running through, only for excellent covering from Dan Burn to put the Fulham man under pressure with Martin Dubravka dealing with the shot.

Joelinton, who scored against AC Milan in midweek, then produced a superb run from the halfway line at the away defence, but it came at a cost as he pulled up with Newcastle forced into their second injury change inside 40 minutes.

Still 0-0 on what promises to be a long afternoon for 10-man Fulham, who are managing to hold the 11 men of Newcastle at bay so far. Anthony Gordon hitting the underside of the bar for the hosts is the closest either side has come.

    Ouch.

Josko Gvardiol slides in to win the ball for City. Nathan Ake then picks up the loose ball and Joachim Andersen tries to mirror Gvardiol but is too late, instead taking out Ake with a huge swipe.

Really hoping to see Nkunku at some stage today. Looked great in pre-season. Although whether or not he'll spark any life into this current Chelsea side is a different question entirely.

I really think if we have to draw lines for offside we've gone too far. Show three referees a full speed replay, a slow-mo replay and a freeze frame of when the ball was kicked - if the majority can't say for sure it was offside, goal stands.

    David, Manchester

Surely it’s time to set a timer on VAR decisions. If it takes longer than, say, 30 seconds, it’s not clear and obvious. These prolonged hold ups after a goal are ruining the celebration.

    Harvey

Mike: The sooner the Premier League clubs accept that the semi auto offside is the way forward, the less frustrating it will be for everyone. That offside check for the Grealish goal was nonsense.
