They're still checking for offside at the Etihad. It's an extremely tight one.

Raul Jimenez came into this game in good form, with three goals in two matches, but he gave the officials little option, recklessly and dangerously jumping into Sean Longstaff, who was lucky to not get seriously hurt.
Referee Sam Barrott had originally given Jimenez a yellow card, but Michael Salisbury, on video assistant referee duty, told him to review the decision and there was only ever going to be one outcome, with the red card greeted by a huge roar from the home fans.
Fulham, without a win in seven away matches, have to fight with only 10 men for about 70 minutes. What an early Christmas present for Newcastle.

For me it's all about Foden. Lovely little pass from the edge of the box. He slides it through to Grealish and it's a good finish.
For Palace, that's the gamble, whether you stick with the formation at 1-0. Beautiful goal.
Bournemouth 0-1 Luton
Milos Kerkez's cross comes in from the left but Dominic Solanke can only head it down and into the goalkeeper's arms.

Red all day long for Raul Jimenez. Shades of Harald Schumacher on Patrick Battiston '82. Horrendous assault
Tony
Jack Grealish (24 mins)
There it is.
It's well worked by City as Ruben Dias finds Phil Foden in space on the edge of the box.
He slips it through to Jack Grealish and he opens his body before placing it to the left of Dean Henderson.
There's a VAR check for possible offside though...
Chelsea 0-0 Sheff Utd
Lovely shot from Blades striker Cameron Archer. He curls an effort towards the far post and it's deflected wide for a corner.
Bournemouth 0-1 Luton
It's a decent battle out there. Dominic Solanke wants a free-kick for a nudge in the back before Ryan Christie comes flying in on Tom Lockyer. Luton get the free-kick but Solanke isn't happy.
Newcastle 0-0 Fulham
The referee watches Raul Jimenez smash Sean Longstaff in the head with his thigh. He comes back from the screen and shows him the red card.
Man City 0-0 Crystal Palace
A rare break for Palace as Jeffrey Schlupp carries it through the middle but there's too many bodies back to block the effort.
Newcastle 0-0 Fulham
They are checking this for a potential Raul Jimenez red card. He ran full speed and threw himself at Sean Longstaff.
Very dangerous. Totally needless. The referee goes to the screen.
Newcastle 0-0 Fulham
Raul Jimenez, who seems riled up after being clattered a minute ago, smashes into a Newcastle player and gets a yellow card.
The home fans call for red.
Bournemouth 0-1 Luton
Marcus Tavernier's shot from the corner bounces off team-mate Dominic Solanke and out for a goal kick.
Bournemouth 0-1 Luton
Smart corner routine from Bournemouth as Ryan Christie plays it short, gets the return, then fires it in low for Marcus Tavernier on the edge of the box. His touch is heavy though and the shot is blocked.
Tavernier has another chance moments later but it's deflected behind for a corner.
Newcastle 0-0 Fulham
Raul Jimenez is fine after some treatment.
Newcastle 0-0 Fulham
What's happened here? Fulham striker Raul Jimenez is down after a tussle with Jamaal Lascelles. The physios are on.

I think my hope that this is the best time for Palace to face City is going to be dashed!

Elijah Adebayo is one of the most in form striker in the league at the moment. I think he has scored 3 in a row in the Premier League. He is on a brilliant run but Luton needs to turn their fearless performances into wins.

It's all defensive work at the moment from Crystal Palace. City have to make sure the frustration doesn't get the better of them. The tempo of the game suits Palace at the minute because of the way they have set up. It is a negative way of playing but it is their prerogative.
At the moment it is a bit flat as sometimes it makes two teams to make a great game.

Just what Newcastle don't need. An injury to Fabian Schar inside the opening 15 minutes. He went down and was stretching his right hamstring but soon afterwards gave a resigned shake of the head towards the bench and off he goes, replaced by Emil Krafth.
Man City 0-0 Crystal Palace
It feels like a matter of minutes before City break the deadlock.
Bernardo Silva to Rico Lewis, to Rodri... Fired just wide.
