Play is stopped as Wilson Odobert is down injured. He tried to nudge the ball away with his head as he was falling and ended up getting caught by James Garner.

Burnley, to be fair, have not played that bad - just defended set pieces poorly.
However, once again it is the lack of threat in the final third that is the big problem as they are heading towards half time without managing a shot on target.

Burnley have to be careful with giving away set-pieces because every single time it is a danger. Nearly every single ball has been won by an Everton player.

More set piece concerns for Burnley as Everton win a free-kick some 30 yards from goal. The ball is played in but this time it is headed away.

Everton fans are enjoying this, and why shouldn't they!
They are the only ones you can hear inside Turf Moor, it's rather quiet in the other three stands.
Burnley are sinking without a trace.

Just to underline what a good job Sean Dyche is doing Everton would now be ninth without the points deduction, relegation a distant concern.
To be honest, it is now with the way they are fighting and picking up points.

This Everton team could have used excuses. They have lost 10 points. They could have been making excuses but they've gone the other way.
Burnley have struggled to score goals. They went to Brighton and got a fantastic draw but they have looked today, again, like they lack a bit of cutting-edge.

Burnley look to respond again as a shot from a corner is blocked.
Clarets assistant manager Craig Bellamy looks deep in thought as he scrutinises some data on a laptop in the dugout.
It is going to take a real tactical masterclass for the hosts to turn this around.

Once again, Burnley don't deal with the set-piece. It's a long ball, it's direct. It's a header, it's a shot and a rebound and they make no apologies for it.

You can see a change in Burnley's style at times. They are trying to pass through the lines but at the start of the season we haven't seen James Trafford do that - going for the long ball.
They are just trying to go a little bit more direct and it is causing Everton issues.

High line from Burnley, they get turned around, and it is far too easy for Michael Keane to have so much space for the initial shot, and he gets a second bite of the cherry from the rebound.
Burnley are just all over the place defensively and Everton are being clinical. Opportunities are coming and they are taking them.
Michael Keane
It gets worse for Burnley!
Everton have a second and it is former Clarets defender Michael Keane who scores it.
His first shot from a knockdown following a free-kick is kept out by James Trafford, but the ball from his save rebounds back to Keane, who makes no mistake this time.
The away end is bouncing.

He has an assist but Dwight McNeil is desperate to get a goal against his former side.
The winger charges through the middle, he has loads of space to attack but goes for glory with a shot from distance that flies well over.

Fantastic news. Our thoughts and prayers are with Tom Lockyer, after it has happened for the second time.
It was the correct decision to abandon the game.

What do Burnley do now? They have to go for this and Jay Rodriguez almost crafts an opportunity as he turns inside the box, but the ball is taken from him as he shoots.

They have been very good at winning second balls. That's what Sean Dyche is very good at working on.
The second phase is important and that's what Everton are getting the better of at the moment.

Brilliant save initially from James Trafford but he was nowhere for the goal.
It was a towering leap from Amadou Onana and Trafford was beaten.

It's no real surprise that the opening goal has come from a set piece.
Everton as just too big and too strong, and set plays have proved so fruitful for them so far this season.
The ball is deep to the back post and James Trafford was always reaching for it but never getting there. The desire from Amadou Onana to get to the ball first means it was only ever going to end up in the back of the net.

It's another fantastic delivery from Dwight McNeill. It's clearly something they have worked on and Onana rises high above everyone.
It's so simple, they surround the goalkeeper and make no apologies for putting men in the box.
