Morgan Whittaker is seeking to score for the fourth straight match at Home Park.

In a big game in the lower reaches of the table Swansea are seeking to register a third straight home win against Huddersfield, the last two of which have finished 1-0.

The Terriers have actually only scored one goal in their last four visits to Swansea but with the Swans on a run of four home games without a win, will be looking to break that run today.

Coolio was No1 with Gangsta’s Paradise the last time Millwall lost at home to Sunderland in September 1995.

Joe Edwards’ side go into this one on the back of three straight home defeats, their worst run in over eight years. Things aren’t much better for the Black Cats who are winless in four on the road and haven’t scored in the last three.

Something’s got to give, but which set of fans will be on their knees tonight, saying prayers in the streetlight?

It’s been 16 years since Plymouth and Stoke last met and historically the Potters have a fine record against Argyle, losing just one of the last 11 meetings - though both sides go into this in patchy form.

The Pilgrims have taken four points from their last five matches while City come into the game after back-to-back defeats during which they shipped seven goals.

Keep an eye-out for Plymouth hot-shot Morgan Whittaker who has scored in three straight home games and is especially fond of a long-ranger.

  20. Will Rovers stop Rohl getting Owls rocking?published at 14:55 Greenwich Mean Time 2 December 2023

Sheff Wed v Blackburn (15:00 GMT)

Sheffield Wednesday head coach Danny Rohl is already a firm favourite with the club's supporters despite their pretty dire situation.

The 34-year-old German, the youngest boss in the EFL, believes his side can get out of trouble despite being 12 points adrift of safety with just seven points from 18 matches.

They battled to a 1-1 draw with league leaders Leicester in midweek and the Owls have won four of their past five home meetings with Blackburn.

The injury-hit Rovers will provide stern opposition though.

Back-to-back wins have lifted Jon Dahl Tomasson's men up to seventh in the table and in forward Sammie Szmodics they boast the league's top scorer.

The ex-Peterborough man has 13 goals in 18 league matches. He managed just five in the Championship in the whole of last season.
