Sam Greenwood missing the sitter after goalscorer Morgan Rogers squared it to him.

  2. goal

GOAL: Plymouth 1-3 Birminghampublished at 16:28 Greenwich Mean Time 23 December 2023

    Juninho Bacuna (62 mins)

Clearly Birmingham haven't been affected by being reduced to 10!

Jay Stansfield works the ball to the byline and the ex-Exeter man tees up Juninho Bacuna to fire home.

Is that game over for Plymouth?

  3. Postpublished at 16:27 Greenwich Mean Time 23 December 2023

    Sheff Wed 1-0 Cardiff

Jak Alnwick makes a super save in the Bluebirds goal to stop Marvin Johnson making it 2-0 to the home side.

  4. Daka at the doublepublished at 16:26 Greenwich Mean Time 23 December 2023

    Leicester 2-0 Rotherham

    Matt Piper
Former Foxes winger on BBC Radio Leicester

Daka has come alive. It's the pace he comes at the ball, Johansson was favourite for it, but Daka got there first. It is definitely a penalty.

His speed created the opportunity, then he steps up and sticks it away in the bottom left hand corner. It sort of bobbles in.

Johansson goes the right way, but it was too good.

    Blackburn 1-0 Watford

Blackburn only have a slim one-goal lead against Watford and how they'd love to pad that lead out.

Hayden Carter somehow fires wide as the hosts keep pressing.

    Plymouth 1-2 Birmingham

Plymouth have a player advantage over Birmingham after Krystian Bielik's red card but they still haven't clawed themselves level.

Jordan Houghton sends a ball into the box having made a run on the left flank but his delivery across the face of goal sails into space with no one able to get on the end of it.

  7. goal

GOAL: Leicester 2-0 Rotherhampublished at 16:24 Greenwich Mean Time 23 December 2023

    Patson Daka (penalty) (65 mins)

    That'll be that.

Patson Daka makes no mistake from the spot.

Four in four for the Zambian now.

The Foxes are going six points clear at the top of the Championship for Christmas.

  8. PENALTY: Leicesterpublished at 16:23 Greenwich Mean Time 23 December 2023

    Leicester 1-0 Rotherham

The home side have the chance to double their lead against the lowly Millers.

Rotherham goalkeeper Viktor Johansson cleans out Patson Daka as the goalscorer is played in on goal.

The Swede is booked for his troubles.

  9. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 16:22 Greenwich Mean Time 23 December 2023

    Middlesbrough 1-0 West Brom

Morgan Rogers nearly had his second of this match, and again Isaiah Jones was heavily involved.

His pass set Rogers up, but Alex Palmer excels again on his 50th appearance for the Baggies, tipping this one onto the post and out.

  10. 'Rotherham have to come out and play'published at 16:22 Greenwich Mean Time 23 December 2023

    Leicester 1-0 Rotherham

    Matt Piper
Former Foxes winger on BBC Radio Leicester

Well, now Rotherham have to come out and play, otherwise the game will slip away from them.

You don't care how they come, as long as they do.

  11. goal

    Patson Daka (60 mins)

    Cometh the hour...

The league leaders break the deadlock agaist the bottom side through in-form forward Patson Daka.

It's wonderfully worked by the Foxes and Daka is there to apply the finishing touch.

Leicester look to be going six points clear of Ipswich at the top.

    Stoke 0-0 Millwall

More positive play from Stoke against Millwall.

Josh Laurent is the latest Potters man to try his luck, this time as he unleashes a dipping strike which is well held by visiting keeper Matija Sarkic.

    Still goalless.

  13. TRIPLE SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 16:18 Greenwich Mean Time 23 December 2023

    QPR 0-1 Southampton

Less a rarity than they used to be pre-covid, but still slightly strange to see in the 56th minute!

Russell Martin told Mark Clement on BBC's Football Focus earlier how he loves the word relentless, well that word definitely relates to his troops so far this Championship campaign..but maybe they have not been relentless enough for his liking the first hour of this match.

Che Adams, Shea Charles and Ryan Fraser on for Will Smallbone, Flynn Downes and Sam Edozie.

  14. Postpublished at 16:17 Greenwich Mean Time 23 December 2023

    Leicester 0-0 Rotherham

Heading for the hour mark and bottom-of-the-table Rotherham are standing tall.

That said, they've faced 15 shots and so far had... none of their own.

  15. 'Not even a foul'published at 16:16 Greenwich Mean Time 23 December 2023

    Plymouth 1-2 Birmingham

    Ian Clarkson
Ex-Birmingham captain on BBC Radio WM

I don't even think it's a foul to be honest.

Plymouth are better at going forward than they are defensively, so Birmingham having 10 men for 40 minutes - this is going to be tough.

  16. Postpublished at 16:15 Greenwich Mean Time 23 December 2023

    Plymouth 1-2 Birmingham City

    Brent Pilnick
    BBC Sport at Home Park

Blues fans will not want to see the replays of Krystian Bielik's red card.

No doubt it was a full-blooded challenge, but it did not seem particularly high.

But Birmingham are down to 10 and this intriguing game takes yet anther twist!

  17. Postpublished at 16:15 Greenwich Mean Time 23 December 2023

    Sunderland 0-1 Coventry

Another glorious chance missed by a black cat, this time it is Jack Clarke who competes with Abdoullah Ba's shocking first-half miss.

Jobe Bellingham could also have scored in front of his brother in the stands already this second half, but his left-footed shot is blocked.

Much better from Sunderland this half, don't forget Coventry lost their captain Ben Sheaf to a head injury in the first-half.

  18. 'Rotherham can't get a touch'published at 16:14 Greenwich Mean Time 23 December 2023

    Leicester 0-0 Rotherham

    Matt Piper
Former Foxes winger on BBC Radio Leicester

The last few games we have seen that Enzo Maresca's side fly out the traps in the second half - it's happening again here.

Rotherham can't get a touch of the ball.

  19. RED CARDpublished at 16:14 Greenwich Mean Time 23 December 2023

    Plymouth 1-2 Birmingham

My word another major incident in this game, this time a red card.

Birmingham are reduced to 10 after Krystian Bielik is sent off for a rash challenge on Jordan Houghton.

Can managerless Plymouth use their advantage to level things up at Home Park?

    Stoke 0-0 Millwall

Ki-Jana Hoever came closest to giving Stoke the lead in a tepid first half against Millwall and he's just tested the visitors again.

Ryan Mmaee sets him up but his strike is well held by Lions keeper Matija Sarkic.
