It’s been the best of times - and the worst of times for North End - Preston’s late loss at Swansea and three wins in 16 has seen them drop from play-offs to mid-table, with boss Ryan Lowe given a vote of confidence from the Preston board.

They make four changes including Freddie Woodman returning in goal and top scorer Milutin Osmajic up top.

In this tale of two cities, the Daniel Farke revolution saw Leeds score four unanswered against promotion rivals Ipswich on Saturday.

They’re unchanged - attackers Dan James, Joel Piroe, Crysensio Summerville and Georginio Rutter have 31 goals between them.

If Leeds hit top form again, it could feel like a winter of despair for Preston North End.

    Preston 0-0 Leeds

We're off and running in Lancashire.

Can Preston put their recent woes behind them or are Leeds going to close the gap on second-placed Ipswich?

The early kick off at Deepdale is moments away and it isn't the only one that might catch out a few fans who had long days yesterday.

There's a London derby at The Den at 13:00 GMT as Championship strugglers Millwall and QPR face off in a game both desperately need a result in.

There's another capital city derby in League One, with Leyton Orient hosting capital city rivals Charlton at 13:00 GMT.

In League Two, Mansfield welcome Grimsby at 12:30 GMT and Crawley head over to Gillingham for 13:00 GMT.

We'll keep you across any goals in those games as they go in.

We're all probably just warming up into the day so I'll keep this one nice and straight forward.

If you think Preston are going to get their flagging play-off push back on track today with a win or even a draw then give this post a thumbs up but if you think Leeds are going to continue their hunt for the top two with an away win then hit the thumbs down.

Think I might know how this one is going to go...

Of course, we also welcome your more considered thoughts and you can give us those by using #bbcefl on X, formerly Twitter, or via WhatsApp on 03301231826 or text 81111 (UK only, standard message rates apply).

We'd love to hear from you.

Preston goalkeeper Freddie Woodman is back in after being on the bench for the 2-1 defeat at Swansea. Basel loanee Liam Millar is in from the start after getting their goal as a sub in that loss.

In what I would call an 'if it ain't broke, don't fix it' approach, Leeds boss Daniel Farke goes with the same 11 that started the 4-0 demolition of Ipswich.

Preston XI: Woodman, Lindsay, Whatmough, Hughes, Potts, Browne, Whiteman, Millar, Holmes, McCann, Osmajic.

Subs: Cornell, Storey, Cunningham, Best, Ledson, Frokjaer, Woodburn, Keane, Evans.

Leeds XI: Meslier; Gray, Rodon, Struijk, Spence; Ampadu, Kamara; Summerville, James, Piroe, Rutter.

Subs: Darlow, Firpo, Cooper, Byram, Gruev, Anthony, Bamford, Gnonto, Joseph.

First up we've got Preston v high-flying Leeds in the Championship.

The Whites are looking to cut the gap on second-placed Ipswich to just four points after thumping Town 4-0 at Elland Road on Saturday.

Kieran McKenna's men welcome league leaders Leicester in our final game of the day at 19:45 GMT, so I dare say there will be a lot of people in Suffolk hoping Preston can do them a favour.

Ryan Lowe's men aren't in great nick though, with just one win in their past seven.
