    Ben Purrington own goal

A huge deflection gives Hibs the lead!

Elie Youan picks up the ball about 25 yards out, shifts it onto his right foot and has a dig.

His shot is heading wide, but it strikes Ben Purrington, wrong-foots Ross Laidlaw, and nestles in the back of the net.

That will surely go down as an own goal.

    Hibernian 0-0 Ross County

Still no shots on target at Easter Road.

It's been more trick than treat so far.

    Callum Davidson
Former St Johnstone manager on BBC Sportsound

That is twice Ross County have got in behind Miller on Hibs' right-hand side.

That looks like an area they are trying to expose.

    Hibernian 0-0 Ross County

Victor Loturi was superb for County in their 3-3 draw against Motherwell last time out, and a great run from the Canadian midfielder gets his side in behind here.

It comes to nothing, but Loturi is causing Hibs problems with his movement.

  5. Postpublished at 20:21 Greenwich Mean Time 31 October 2023

    Hibernian 0-0 Ross County

Scott Allardice wipes out Jimmy Jeggo in midfield and gifts Hibs a free-kick.

It's a great ball in from Dylan Levitt, and Jack Baldwin can only head behind for a Hibs corner.

    Hibernian 0-0 Ross County

    Michael Stewart
Former Hearts & Hibs midfielder on BBC Sportsound

If Hibs wait any longer, Ross County might get 11 men behind the ball and make it even harder for them to attack.

Show a little bit of urgency.

  7. Postpublished at 20:18 Greenwich Mean Time 31 October 2023

    Hibernian 0-0 Ross County

Michael Stewart wants Hibs to move the ball quicker and not allow County to get into their defensive shape...

It's fair to say they haven't been at their fluent best in attack tonight.

  8. Postpublished at 20:16 Greenwich Mean Time 31 October 2023

    Hibernian 0-0 Ross County

Adam Le Fondre reacts fastest to a loose ball on the edge of the County box, but lashes his left-footed shot just wide.

    Hibeernian 0-0 Ross County

    Michael Stewart
Former Hearts & Hibs midfielder on BBC Sportsound

It was a good move from Ross County, exploiting the full-back.

It was lovely one-touch passing from two or three players.

The angle was slightly tight but you were expecting the net to bulge because the lay-off was perfect.

  10. CLOSE!published at 20:13 Greenwich Mean Time 31 October 2023

    Hibernian 0-0 Ross County

The best move of the game should see County in front!

It's gorgeous one-touch stuff from Malky Mackay's side, which culminates in Simon Murray playing James Brown in on goal.

It's a perfectly weighted pass into him, but Brown can only screw his shot past the far post.

  11. goal

GOAL Greenock Morton 0-1 Raith Roverspublished at 20:12 Greenwich Mean Time 31 October 2023

    Aidan Connolly

A header puts Raith ahead at Cappielow.

    Hibernian 0-0 Ross County

Elie Youan gets in behind down the right-hand side after a clever flick from Dylan Vente, and picks out the onrushing Jair Tavares in the middle.

However, Tavares' shot is heading well wide before a deflection takes it kindly into Ross Laidlaw's hands.

Crying out for a wee bit of composure.

  13. goal

GOAL Airdrieonians 0-1 Dundee Utdpublished at 20:07 Greenwich Mean Time 31 October 2023

The Championship leaders notch first in Airdrie.

Twenty minutes gone at Easter Road, and we've still just had the one shot - Scott Allardice's effort that sailed over Jojo Wollacott's bar.

It's not been a classic, but we live in hope.

Ross County skipper Jack Baldwin trots forward to hurl a long throw into the Hibs box, but it's easily dealt with by Will Fish.

County come forward again, but Scott Allardice lashes a shot miles over the bar.

  18. CLOSE!published at 19:58 Greenwich Mean Time 31 October 2023

    Hibernian 0-0 Ross County

First decent chance of the game goes to Hibs, as Elie Youan flashes a great ball across the face of Ross Laidlaw's goal.

Dylan Vente is lurking at the back post, but James Brown does brilliantly to get back and put the ball behind before the Dutch striker can get on the end of it.

    Hibernian 0-0 Ross County

    Callum Davidson
Former St Johnstone manager on BBC Sportsound

Levitt is one player that can make things happen for Hibs.

We have only seen glimpses of what he can do so far.

It will be interesting to see how much of the ball he gets and what he can do.

  20. Postpublished at 19:56 Greenwich Mean Time 31 October 2023

    Hibernian 0-0 Ross County

Lovely stuff from Jair Tavares, who takes the ball on the half-turn, rolls Connor Randall and wins a free-kick on halfway.

The Portuguese has been given a chance in the starting XI under Nick Montgomery and he showed a glimpse of what he's about there.
