Time to hit the hay. I think we'll all sleep well after that.

Dunfermline were lightning quick out the gates thanks to 21-year-old Owen Moffat, who scored both of his first senior goals inside seven minutes. The first took just 20 seconds.

Morton threw absolutely everything at James McPake's side, but the visitors survived it all to move up to fourth.

Dundee manager James McPake tells BBC Scotland: "We made hard work of that for ourselves. We weren't really too happy at half-time. I thought the three centre-halves were excellent against two handfuls up there. The goalkeeper makes some big saves.

"It's always a tough place to come to. We're off the back of three defeats as well. To sum it up, I'm delighted, but we certainly made it eventful come the end.

"Credit to Morton as well. They stick at it and keep asking questions. We should have settled down on the ball and looked to play. As much as we were the better team in the first half, Morton threw everything at us second half."

Morton boss Dougie Imrie tells BBC Scotland: "We lost the game in the first half. We speak all week on what we;re meant to do in the first 10/15 minutes. They shot themselves in the foot.

"I'm really disappointed for them because they're a good group. We need to get out of this. We need to stop giving two goals to start.

"It's taking ownership. We'll go again. We've got another tough game against Partick next week but we've got to keep believing. I certainly do, I'm a fighter.

"I thought second half the boys were brilliant. Dunfermline never really got out. We threw the kitchen sink at it."

Player of the match Owen Moffat tells BBC Scotland: "I'm really happy. It was a good start to the game. I'm really happy with it.

"It was really early on in the game. I just remember making my way up the pitch. I just remember picking a corner and thankfully, it went in.

"I left Celtic and went to Blackpool. I didn't get in the first team straight away and I wanted to play football. I came here and I'm really happy.

"I'm loving it. We've got a good group of boys and hopefully we can build on this."

How? How are they keeping these out?

It's an excellent delivery again that meets Jack Baird at the back stick. His header back in causes a stramash, though eventually, gratefully, Deniz Mehmet grasps it.

    Is that it?

Things are really heated down there.

A scuffle ends with Lewis McCann and Calum Waters booked. The Morton defender motioned his head towards McCann in what was certainly a risky move.
