It's a tough one to take for Ross County because they must have thought they were going in at 0-0.

Ross County almost survived until half-time but that David Turnbull goal has changed the complexion of the match.

The early James Brown red card put the hosts on the back foot and Celtic just kept plugging away until they got the opener.

The work Simon Murray is doing to get County up the park is fantastic.

It's exactly what they need.

Daizen Maeda with the cross again and this time Oh Hyeon-gyu lifts a header over the top.

Yang Hyun-jun slides in to try and meet a Callum McGregor pass and Ross Laidlaw is quick off his line to smother. The Ross County goalkeeper was slightly caught by the attacker and is awarded a free-kick.

After several frustrating deliveries, David Turnbull takes a different approach with a free-kick, laying the ball back.

The Celtic midfielder receives the ball ball and tests Ross Laidlaw with a fierce shot.

Moments ago Simon Murray broke free into the Celtic box before being closed down and challenged by Cameron Carter-Vickers, sending him to the deck but replays show the defender clearly made contact with the ball with Murray's momentum causing his fall.

There will be six minutes of added time in this first half. it has just started.

Paulo Bernardo has been very quiet for Celtic.

This is the difference. Matt O'Riley has had a huge impact, but he's being rested.

Brendan Rodgers will want to keep the likes of O'Riley and Kyogo Furuhashi fresh and get the job done with the players out there.

Ross County just cannot get out. Celtic are using the extra man as much as they can to move from side to side and every time County interrupt their flow, they cannot find a team-mate.

Goalkeeper Ross Laidlaw intervenes with his foot to cut out a David Turnbull cross after another deep run into the Ross County defence.

The ball eventually comes back into the box and Paulo Bernardo looks destined to score only for Laidlaw to pull off another fine stop.

This was the game's second big talking point. Oh Hyeon-gyu had the ball in the net but an offside earlier in the move meant there was no goal.

Will Nightingale catches Celtic's Liam Scales with an arm as both players challenge for an aerial ball.

No action taken by the referee other than to award a free-kick but Nightingale needs to be careful with those kind of challenges.
