  1. McInnes looking to avoid slow startpublished at 14:54 Greenwich Mean Time 4 November 2023

    Kilmarnock v Motherwell (15:00)

Kilmarnock manager Derek McInnes tells Sportsound: "I'm glad we don't have a full week to let that result stew. We got punished for a slow start. We've not been brilliant coming out the raps. We want to be the complete opposite of that.

"Our home form has been strong. Hopefully, that can continue today against a team that is suffering themselves at the moment.

"We need to make sure that when they do get back to winning ways, it's somewhere else and not here."

Asked about the sickness bug going around his team: "I'm alright, but there's a few struggling. One or two have made it, and some haven't. Thankfully, it's not had too big an impact."

If you were late to your seat for Morton v Dunfermline last night, you may well have missed the opening goal.

Owen Moffat scored after 20 seconds then added another in the seventh minute to give the Pars a 2-0 lead.

Morton pulled one back late on from the penalty spot, Steven Boyd converting, but they could not draw level.

    Kilmarnock v Motherwell (15:00)

After a brutal defeat by Aberdeen on Wednesday, where Motherwell found themselves 4-0 down before pulling two back, Stuart Kettlewell shuffles the pack in search of a response.

Arsenal loannee Mika Biereth makes his first start for the club, while Shane Blaney, Theo Bair and Calum Butcher also come in. Whether the latter will play if midfield or defence is yet to be seen.

Bevis Mugabi, Stephen O'Donnell, Lennon Miller and Callum Slattery all drop out the starting line-up.

  8. Killie's Deas in for Polworthpublished at 14:37 Greenwich Mean Time 4 November 2023

    Kilmarnock v Motherwell (15:00)

Kilmarnock's boost in form came to an end on Wednesday as St Johnstone picked up their first win of the season.

Derek McInnes makes just one change to the side that started in Perth, as Liam Polworth is replaced by Robbie Deas.

It suggests the hosts will switch from a back three to a back four, which could give dangerous wingers Danny Armstrong and Matty Kennedy more to room to hurt Motherwell.
