First chance for Everton. Dominic Calvert-Lewin chops in from the right but then his weak shot rolls to Andre Onana.

Even as a Liverpool fan I have to admit that Garnacho strike was an absolute stunner. Wow!

That's one of the goals that every time you see it, it looks better and better. Phenomenal.

Memories there, some of the great goals that we've seen scored. I'm thinking Mark Hughes, I'm thinking Wayne Rooney, the famous goal that he scored in the Manchester derby, that was right up there with that.
It was acrobatic, spectacular I think it's one of the best goals I've seen live.
Everton 0-1 Man Utd
Jack Harrison wins a corner for Everton... actually no, the referee says he got the last touch. Not sure I agree. That was basically their first attack.

Quick as a flash Garnacho spotted it, adjusted his body and it was behind him yet he still rises into the air and as sweetly as you've seen one hit connects with it right into the top corner. Pickford absolutely no chance. What a start from Manchester United.

Alejandro Garnacho tries to race onto a ball over the top but it runs through to Jordan Pickford. He should have tried flicking it up for a bicycle.

WHAT a way to silence the home crowd.
All you can hear now are the United fans chanting "Viva Garnacho."
Everton 0-1 Man Utd
Proper goal of the season contender, that.
Alejandro Garnacho
A wonder goal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Alejandro Garnacho doesn't look like he can believe he's pulled this one off.
Diogo Dalot lifts up a cross from the right wing and Garnacho hits a stunning overhead kick with big similarities to that Wayne Rooney one in the derby years ago.

United's Scott McTominay goes down in the box... no penalty.

Never liked points deductions they only punish the fans. The people responsible are still well off and just walk away. Ban the people responsible for the infringement and let the natural order decide who stays and who goes.

Actions speak louder than words, all around us. It's behind us, to our left, looking up, pink placards with the Premier League logo on them.
A chorus of boos, the like of which I'm not sure I've ever heard a louder one.
Everton 0-0 Man Utd
We are under way at a rowdy Goodison.

Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou, speaking to Sky Sports, says: "A tough outcome but I couldn't be happier with the way the boys played.
"I'm really proud of them, I thought we played some fantastic football and on another day we would've won comfortably. I can't fault the effort they put into the game.
"There's no frustration. We played well and as a manager that's all you can ask for. Sometimes the outcomes don't go the way you want but as a manager I want the players committed to what we are trying to do and they were all totally committed.
"On another day we would've had a few goals but it was a combination of outstanding goalkeeping and woodwork. From my perspective all I can ask is what they gave. The players played an outstanding game of football and as a manager that's all we can ask for."
