A very positive start from the hosts.
It's possession with purpose, that's for sure. City earn their first corner and are looking rather threatening. Spurs haven't got up to speed yet.

Although Manchester City were beaten here in midweek - on penalties by Leicester in the Continental Cup - the good feeling from last weekend's derby victory over Manchester United has not subsided.
Taking three points in the first WSL derby played at Old Trafford with a strong performance was a much needed shot in the arm after defeats to Arsenal and Brighton.
"At the end of the day it was three points, but it goes beyond that. It was bigger than just three points," manager Gareth Taylor said on Friday.
"At Old Trafford, under the lights, on TV, we showed what we are all about. We showed real quality at times, and the celebration afterwards was great."
Now for Man City the question is keeping that momentum, in a game tonight they really need to win to keep pace with Chelsea in the title race.
Man City v Tottenham (18:45 GMT)
Manchester City saw their run of 21 home matches without defeat ended by Brighton two weeks ago, but Gareth Taylor's side bounced back from that disappointment to record a thrilling derby victory over Manchester United at Old Trafford.
City last lost consecutive home games between September-November 2021 - amid a run of three which included a 2-1 defeat to Tottenham.
Can they avoid that fate here to keep their title hopes on track?

I know the Sunday 6.45pm kick-offs in the WSL are not universally popular - certainly for Spurs fans, this is a devilish time for a long away trip from London.
But these winter games under the lights have an extra buzz, and in a game between two sides capable of playing beautiful football, this might just be a Sunday night treat.

Tottenham are composed on the ball, they go very expansive, they go high and wide, they play through the thirds. Grace Clinton [on loan from Man Utd] has had a big impact on this team in the number 10 role, she's had a lot of freedom. She's so creative, she likes to turn and face forward straight away and play those other attacking players like Martha Thomas whose been in good form scoring goals as well.

Tottenham’s Martha Thomas is the joint-top scorer in the WSL so far this season following Lauren James's double for Chelsea earlier today.
The 27-year-old's tally of six goals so far is already the second highest tally for a Spurs player in a single campaign in the competition, after the 12 scored by Beth England in 2022-23.
Manchester City know they face a difficult task trying to keep her quiet this evening.

Manchester City are, unsurprisingly, unchanged from the side which beat Manchester United at Old Trafford last week.
Laia Aleixandri was sent off at United, but served her suspension by sitting out the League Cup match in midweek.
Man City: Keating; Aleixandri, Kennedy, Greenwood, Ouahabi; Hasegawa, Roord; Hemp, Angeldahl, Kelly; Shaw
Subs: Roebuck, Stokes, Houghton, Coombs, Fowler, Castellanos, Morgan, Park, Casperij
Robert Vilahamn makes two changes to his Tottenham XI following their 1-1 draw at Leicester last weekend - their third successive tied game.
Out go Ria Percival and Jess Naz, in come Asmita Ale and Linyan Zhang. There is a bit of a reshuffle, with Angharad James and Grace Clinton looking like they will be deployed further forward.
Tottenham: Spencer; Ale, Buhler, Bartrip, Neville; James, Summanen, Zhang; Bizet, Thomas, Clinton
Subs: Votikova, Zadorsky, Turner, Naz, Petzelberger, Percival, Graham, Ayane, Pearse

It was at around this time last season that Spurs began a nine-match WSL losing run which spiralled them into relegation trouble and cost Rehanne Skinner her job.
So it is early days for current manager Robert Vilahamn, but the early signs are good. Unbeaten since the opening day - albeit having drawn their last three WSL games - and playing some of the finest football in the league.
"It’s looking good results-wise but the main thing is that we look good performance-wise," he told his press conference on Friday. "We have possession in games, create goal chances, so for me, we have taken a step already and I’m pleased with that.
"But I think we’re ready for the next step. Can we actually compete against the top four teams and score more goals to win those games? We are not just happy that we are in a good spot. Now it’s about whether we can improve.”
A tricky trip to a top four side under the floodlights might provide Vilahamn with an answer.

Another game over, but have no fear. There's not too long to wait now before our final game of the day gets under way!
With Chelsea, Arsenal, Manchester United and Liverpool each collecting three points today, Manchester City and Tottenham meet at the Joie Stadium with the aim of keeping pace at the top of the table.
Just one point separates the sides in fifth and sixth in the table before kick-off, as City aim to build on last season's fourth-placed finish and Tottenham look to upset the established order after flirting with relegation.
Aston Villa 1-2 Everton
Everton lump one clear and that's it.
Anna Patten's own goal and a Nathalie Bjorn penalty lift the Toffees up to eighth - four points clear of the relegation spot.
Villa slip to 10th, just two points off danger, despite Rachel Daly's fourth goal of the season.
Aston Villa 1-2 Everton
Everton try to waste a few more precious seconds by bringing on Emma Bissell.
Aston Villa 1-2 Everton
Corner is half-cleared but Alisha Lehmann plays a lovely one-two and it needs Courtnesy Brosnan to come off her line and close the angle to block brilliantly.
Was that Villa's last chance?
Aston Villa 1-2 Everton
Kenza Dali lines one up on the edge of the box but it's deflected over for a corner.
Still two minutes left but the keeper is up!
Aston Villa 1-2 Everton
Everton have, for the most part, defended excellently and an teasing cross from Ebony Salmon is the latest problem to be dealt with efficiently.
Aston Villa 1-2 Everton
Lucy Staniforth fouls Katja Snoeijs and the Everton forward is understandably taking her time getting up.
More seconds tick by.
Indeed Justine Vanhaevermaet is booked for taking too long over the free-kick.
Aston Villa 1-2 Everton
Courtney Brosnan dives on the ball as Rachel Daly cannot get much purchase on a flick-on.
We have six minutes of stoppage time.
