More from England's Ella Toone speaking to ITV: "I wish we played here every week! No, I love playing for England and love playing football. It was really special to get on the scoresheet again at Wembley but the main thing for us tonight was that we won.

"It was really loud tonight. I didn't really have time to celebrate. I wanted to get the ball and us to go again. I didn't really get to embrace it but the fans wre amazing again.

"I thought we played really well. even at two goals down we dominated the game, and it was two errors from us. The character was huge from us, and it was nice to get the win.

"The game against Scotland will be massive. But every game we play is big because everyone wants to beat England, we've got a target on our backs. We'll go there with a gameplan and wanting to get the win."

    You never know.

It is ironic really that it has come down to the final game of the group with England facing Scotland for potential Team GB qualification on the line.

England knew that they needed to do a little bit more tonight, they had to produce more in the first half. They looked devastated at full time.

I can't imagine that the Dutch will take their foot off the accelerator, but you never know.

So why wouldn’t Scotland roll over and let England thrash them so team GB get to the Olympics? Could that happen?

    Ben

So Scotland need to lose heavily to England next week for Scotland players to have a chance to play at the Olympics. How do football authorities let this happen?

    England

England's Ella Toone speaking to ITV: "It is always nice to get on the scoresheet. The main thing was to win and we did that. I knew my role was to come on and change the game in any way that I could. What a ball from LJ. We showed a lot of character to get the win."

On what Sarina Wiegman said to her when she came on: "It was all a bit of blur. Sarina just said to make an impact, attack, press and express ourselves. The subs she made really did that. It was a great comeback. It was three good goals."

  8. What do Team GB need England to do to make Olympics?published at 21:49 Greenwich Mean Time 1 December 2023

    FT: England 3-2 Netherlands

And just to remind you again, Team GB can only reach this summer's Olympics if nominated nation England qualify for the Nations League finals and make it to the final, or finish third provided hosts France make the final.

England can only make the Nations League finals if they finish top of Group A1.

With England and the Netherlands both beating each other by one goal, the pair are separated by goal difference instead of head-to head.

England will reach the Nations League finals with a win over Scotland in their final match, provided the Netherlands don't beat Belgium.

What a remarkable second half, I can't quite believe what I've just seen. To be honest it was an unforgiveable first half for me.

The quality, the character to come back and to then nearly add a fourth in the dying moments.

It says a lot about this team it really does.

That is why I like Lauren James in that position.

The quality of the pass, and then add the quality of the run. Ella Toone never gives up on it and she shows once again what a terrific sub she is for England.

The Dutch team have been passive in this second half.
