Jurgen Klopp speaking to BBC Match of the Day: "I'm more happy after the first half because it was a tough one. We didn't play good football. The message at half-time was that it's still 0-0 so let's try to be great and the boys were.
"People might write a story about the half-time changes working again, you can write as well about why you have the first line up from the beginning.
"It was obvious we needed to change something. We did and it worked much better. Everything was better, counter press is better, we put them really under pressure and we scored some beautiful goals, It was well played anyway. Impact from the bench again as well so it turned into a pretty good evening.
On the attacking quality of the team: "We miss a few others, we missed Joel Matip who won the Champions League for us, Trent [Alexander-Arnold] who was in a pretty good moment, Dominik Szoboszlai is out, Thiago didn't start, Stefan Bajcetic didn't start and on top of all of the others, Wataru Endo so it's a tough moment. In the moment we still have solutions and now the boys should come back step by step. We play in three days, then three days, then three days later. Semi-final in cup games and then Chelsea and Arsenal so we better be good otherwise we have a problem."
On Conor Bradley: "Top. Good aggression really in the game. He's such a good footballer, he didn't show it all the time today but he is such a good footballer and his attitude is outstanding, he has speed, he has aggressive, all the things you need in that position. The other boys came on, Owen Beck came back and made a big step after being in Scotland. Scotland is a good country for us to give players on loan."
"That's a good thing about this situation that the boys get the opportunity but these boys have to come in when we are a in a good moment, they cannot changed the world for us and we should be in a good moment. The first half was not good enough, no rhythm, nothing but the second half everything was better so we won the game."
Here's the match reports from today's games:
It's also worth tuning in for Match of the Day 2 tonight at 22:30 GMT on BBC One.
The earlier game had a cracking ending and there's been some good goals!

Bournemouth
Bournemouth boss Andoni Iraola speaking to BBC MOTD: "We were really good to keep the game level for 45 minutes. We had more chances in the first half but at the end you need to have some moments of inspiration to make a different. They had that in the second half and we didn't.
"We started doing things that we weren't doing in the first half and were probably doing things too quickly. It made us worse. We started leaving more spaces in the middle and weren't as tight or aggression. Liverpool doesn't lose their intensity. If you don't match them, it's difficult.
"We needed to make changes when we conceded because they were starting to win the duels in the middle but I don't think we improved. We kept at the same level and it was not good enough to compete with Liverpool.
"I think Manchester City, Arsenal and Liverpool have all been really good against us. There's a reason they are the top three teams. Whenever they have a chance, they are clinical and when you make a mistake, they make you pay for it."
On Max Aarons' injury: "For us it's probably the worst news because we were already thin in the left-back position. I think he will be out for some time and we will have to think of other options because we are really thin."

Liverpool
Diogo Jota speaking to BBC Match of the Day: "Bournemouth were a team in form, we had this small break now so maybe that's why we took a bit of time to get into the game. We were a bit static in the first half but in the second half we changed, everything flowed better and we deserved the three points in the end.
"We were too static, we changed players from one side to the other and they got a bit tried and started to give us a yard or two more space. They played really good in the first half but we converted our chances in the second half and taht's football.
On his goals: "The first goal was a good pas s from Cody [Gakpo], just needed to meet the ball and make contact, it was a good finish. Second one I was a bit lucky, first to react, sometimes that's all you need to react first to get the ball. I'm happy I could help the team.
On the attacking group: "Mo [Salah] is a world class player, of course we miss him but we need to step up and find solutions, share responsibilities on the pitch. Today was good, we have two cup games and then Chelsea and Arsenal which won't be easy but if you want to fight for the title, these are the games you have to win.
"It's the Premier League, it's hard we can only keep winning to make it interesting towards the end because it's not going to be easy that's for sure."

Bournemouth
Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraola speaking to Sky Sports: "I think they were much better in the second half and were much more intense. They were winning the second duels and were much more clinical. We had corners and some shots but didn't score the goal when it was still 0-0. In the end they were better.
"We have to be at our best to compete with this opposition. We kept the game quite level for a while but as soon as we conceded the first goal probably, they did things more quickly and they made us pay.
"They were more intense. We weren't so aggressive or made the fouls that we needed to make. The physicality they put into the game you have to match. We did this for a lot of minutes but didn't keep that level.
"I think we will lose Max Aarons as we played with 10 men. He felt something. You never want injuries but especially with [other full-backs out] you don't want. Now we have to think. We have another cup game close and we will have to see who is available. We will be thin in this defensive side."
Will you look to bring a player in during the transfer window? "Yeah, probably we will need a new player because we are thin right now. I don't know what will happen as there are still quite a few days in the market but right now we are thin."

Liverpool
Liverpool forward Diogo Jota speaking to Sky Sports: "It was a great performance from Conor Bradley in the Carabao Cup.
"He deserved this start. It was another great performance and he almost scored a goal."
On missing players: "It's part of the job, we have a few injuries, players on international duty. We survived December. January is coming thick and fast and I think we have the players and the quality to keep winning games.
"When we have world-class players it is easier with them - but we are Liverpool, we have good players and we can try and replace them and share the cost of the games between us and keep going."
On his performance: "I try to be in the right place at the right time and this kind of feeling just come naturally and that's why I need to be there to score goals and make assists."
On Bournemouth: "They played good, they were great in the first half.
"We made a few changes in the second half and everything flowed a bit better. In the end we got the result, that was the most important thing."

Bournemouth
Bournemouth's Chris Mepham speaking to Sky Sports: "At half-time it was about staying in the game at 0-0, and then you go out in the second half and there's a game on their hands.
"It's frustrating they scored so early. As soon as they get the first goal it's always a mountain to climb from there and their quality shone through.
"It's extremely tough. Even when you feel like you're on top, they have players at the other end who can create quality from nowhere. Some of the finishes were unbelievable. We're frustrated to concede those goals in one half but they were always going to come out with quality.
"Teams at this level will punish you. Players like Darwin Nunez and Diogo Jota only need half a yard to punish you. We had a couple of chances that didn't quite fall and which we didn't take.
"You look at the last nine games or so and it's been an unbelievable run. There's no way a result like this should affect us because we're playing against one of the best teams in the world.
"We go again on Thursday in the cup, then West Ham is our next game [in the Premier League]."

Can we talk about Joe Gomez for England again now? Versatile, consistent, experienced at the highest level.

Liverpool
Liverpool defender Conor Bradley speaking to Sky Sports: "To be fair it was a good team performance, it was a difficult place to come, they're in good form so to get the 4-0 win, the clean sheet and three three points was great."
On making his Premier League debut: "I've been wanting to do this since about five years old. I've been waiting for my Premier League debut for a while so I'm really proud."
On missing a chance to score: "The header... I don't know what happened, I couldn't believe I had the chance! I thought I was going to score but I missed it. The second shot was a good save - but gutted about that [header]."
On keeping Trent Alexander-Arnold out of the team: "Trent is unbelievable, he's been in unbelievable form this season so I've just got to keep trying to do my best for the team and see where that takes me."

This is a very good Bournemouth side that are being comfortably beaten by a Liverpool side missing key players. Is the title on?

Aged 20 years and 196 days, Conor Bradley was the third-youngest player to assist a goal on his Premier League debut for Liverpool.
He follows Jordon Ibe and Joe Gomez.
Darwin Nunez with 10 goals and 10 assists is the first player to reach double figures for both goals and assists in all competitions for Premier League clubs this season.
Diogo Jota both scored and assisted in the same Premier League game for a sixth time - the last five times have been away from home.
Bournemouth failed to score for the first time in their last 12 Premier League matches.
This was their heaviest home defeat in the competition since September against Arsenal (also 0-4).

As much as the three points were important for us today, I think Nunez on the score sheet was just as vital. For his belief more than anything. He's been putting fantastic performances in of late but no personal reward.

This was a big victory for Liverpool especially with Manchester City not playing. It puts them five points in front and psychologically that is a big boost.

Liverpool were superb throughout, they dominated possession.
I'm sure Manchester City will know they have a fight on their hands.

Kieffer Moore is played through but he sends it miles wide as Alisson comes racing out to close him down.
That's two big chances for Moore and David Brooks late on that could have given Bournemouth something to cheer about.
