    Bournemouth 0-0 Liverpool

It's not been great. Bournemouth will be pleased as they have created the better chances.

Liverpool haven't really got going and they were not happy with the challenge on Luis Diaz.

Harvey Elliott's delivery is headed miles wide and over by Ibrahima Konate.

Diogo Jota to Luis Diaz... Behind by Lewis Cook for a corner. End-to-end as we go into stoppage time.

Following Ade in Watford - Liverpool's shirts remind me of an Excel spreadsheet and the fact I have work in the morning.

  5. CLOSE!published at 45+1 mins

    Bournemouth 0-0 Liverpool

    Bournemouth have had their chances.

Dominic Solanke is in space in the box but he can't get a shot off and his pull-back is straight to Virgil van Dijk.

The hosts come again with Justin Kluivert on the left but Ryan Christie can't get a touch on it a few yards off the goalline!

  6. Postpublished at 44 mins

    Bournemouth 0-0 Liverpool

Joe Gomez clashes with Max Aarons after the Bournemouth full-back had won the header.

Referee Andrew Madley awards a free-kick and nothing more. He's not got his cards out yet and Gomez can join Justin Kluivert in the "lucky to get away with it" camp.

How is that not at least a yellow for Kluivert? The whole of his foot was on his shin.

Justin Kluivert has a shot blocked by Virgil van Dijk on the edge of the box and the rebound comes to Ryan Christie. Again, Van Dijk makes a crucial block.

Can someone PLEASE explain why that challenge wasn't a red, but Jones was sent off for a lot less earlier in season? I'll wait.....

Marcus Tavernier lays it off to Ryan Christie. He spins away from Curtis Jones but the strike is straight at Alisson.

Oooh, not far off at all! Diogo Jota's pass rolls inches behind Darwin Nunez in the six-yard area.

Justin Kluivert stands on the side of Luis Diaz's leg when it's planted. It's a painful one.

For me, it's not a red card but you never know.

This is a brilliant test for Liverpool's non first team regulars against a Bournemouth team who recently have remembered where the opposition goal is.

Luis Diaz is caught by Justin Kluivert and there is a VAR check because the studs were high.

It's not been punished and Jurgen Klopp is asking why...

Dominic Solanke has been very well marshalled by Virgil van Dijk so far. He's not had a sniff.

  16. Postpublished at 35 mins

Luis Diaz has a go from a long way out. He connects with it well enough but it takes a deflection off Chris Mepham and is comfortable for Neto.

Luis Sinisterra does really well to skip past a few players with great feet but Ibrahima Konate eventually comes across to stop him.

He's started very well for Bournemouth and looks lively every time he has the ball at his feet.

Liverpool are playing really well at the moment. I think Jurgen Klopp will be delighted with his teams reaction after they were under the cosh in the first five minutes.
