Liverpool are looking for that ball in behind. Darwin Nunez and Luis Diaz have tried to sneak in a few times. On this occasion Ryan Christie reads the pass and heads it back to his goalkeeper.
Bournemouth 0-0 Liverpool
Alisson dives to his right to make sure Marcus Tavernier's effort doesn't squeeze inside the near post. It was from a tight angle but worth a go!
Bournemouth 0-0 Liverpool
It's sent long towards Luis Diaz but won't reach him as it flies straight out for a goal kick.

Diogo Jota is dropping in and I think the idea will be for Darwin Nunez and Luis Diaz to make that run inside into the space.
Bournemouth 0-0 Liverpool
Diogo Jota puts pressure on goalkeeper Neto and he rushes a clearance into the stands.

Good start from Bournemouth. I expected them to start fast.
Bournemouth 0-0 Liverpool
A second corner as Ibrahima Konate blocks the first entry.
Liverpool clear it again but Curtis Jones can't beat Ryan Christie in the middle as they try to break.
Bournemouth 0-0 Liverpool
Joe Gomez has to concede a corner within 30 seconds of kick-off to stop Justin Kluivert.
Bournemouth 0-0 Liverpool
It is windy. Very, very windy.

Off we go at Bournemouth. Will there be the same level of drama?

Curtis Jones is a real success story for Liverpool with him stepping up from the academy and into the first team.
He's doing extremely well at the moment.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp on opponents Bournemouth and their manager Andoni Iraola: "A really difficult start for him at Bournemouth, but they turned it around - wow.
"That's real coaching, they have a really good mix - they play football, they use Dominic Solanke in a sensational way.
"The way they defend is really good and really compact. That's proper. They have my respect, definitely."
On his side's return from a mini winter break: "The boys love going away but they love football more.
"We have had a break and now we can go for the rest of the season."

What makes Curtis Jones such a Jurgen Klopp player is all of the energy he brings. He can defend, he can attack and he can score goals. That number eight on the left is his best position but he can play anywhere.
I don't think he's far from the England squad.
FT: Sheffield United 2-2 West Ham
West Ham United
West Ham goalscorer Maxwel Cornet speaking to PLP: "Yes, like you say, it was a frustrated end to the game. We want to win this game but when we can't, we have to keep the point. We have to bring the point back home. We will take it tonight.
"I don't think it's a penalty. At the end the referees make the decision and we have to respect it.
"They got a red card so we should keep the ball and control the game. We already knew it would be a tough game. We have to keep going and keep pushing for the next game.
"I keep working. The key is patience. Today I scored to try to help the team. It wasn't enough but personally I'm happy to get my first goal for West Ham and hopefully I can score more."

Bournemouth
Andoni Iraola said Bournemouth "will have to be at their best" against Liverpool today.
"I’m quite happy with the two games we've played against them but even then we weren’t able to even tie a game," he said.
"We have to be at our best as they are top of the league."
Bournemouth v Liverpool (16:30 GMT)
Jurgen Klopp says he is "so happy" for former Reds striker Dominic Solanke and his good form with Bournemouth.
Klopp signed Solanke from Chelsea as a 19-year-old but he only managed one senior goal before joining Bournemouth in 2019.
"I'm so happy for Dom because when we signed him we were all so excited about the talent he had," said Klopp.
"He had so much potential but it is Liverpool and we had other good strikers as well.
"He was probably not the most clinical yet but the talent was obvious. It was the right decision to go to Bournemouth.
"Last season he scored enough goals but this season he is up there with the greatest. He is a really talented kid, I'm very happy for him."

So rugby tackles are allowed now? Terrible refereeing.
