After a really exciting opening half hour, the last 10 minutes has been absolutely turgid.

Here comes a rare Motherwell attack through Stephen O'Donnell, but his cross to the front post is turned behind and the corner comes to nothing.

A corner is floated in by Caolan Boyd-Munce. Richard Taylor heads it down, and Mikael Mandron tries to get the shot away, it takes a deflection and Shamal George eventually manages to catch the loose ball.

St Mirren come again and Michael Nottingham is kneed in the back by his goalkeeper as he jumps to catch the ball. Ouch! He's back to his feet now and looks like he'll be able to continue.

That was a really good chance for Matt Smith. The St Johnstone midfielder drives into the box and has room for a shot, but swipes it into the side-netting.

Having taken a while to get going, Dundee are asking real questions of the Hibs defence now.

Luke McCowan dances his way past a couple of challenges, but is off-balance when he goes to shoot, and David Marshall is out swiftly to block.

That's an odd one. Scott Allardice goes down in the box - it's clearly a dive - but quickly gets back up and carries on. The ball goes out and Colin Steven books him.

Hang on, we've gone back for a free-kick. Just an embarrassing dive.

You sense a goal is coming soon here for Celtic, who're slowly ratcheting up the pressure on a Motherwell backline that has done well to keep them out so far.

Well organised, with a good keeper there to make saves when required. How much longer can they hold out though?

St Johnstone produce their best stuff of the game. Alex Cochrane gives the ball away and Matt Smith gets down the outside to chip a cross in to the back post.

Chris Kane and Luke Robinson make a meal of it initially, but it drops back for Robinson who gets the ball on target, only for Zander Clark to make a good instinctive save.

Another good save from Will Dennis denies Yan Dhanda after the tricky County midfielder steals the ball in midfield and curls a shot in the direction of the bottom corner.

Stephen O'Donnell comes within inches of scoring the opener... for Celtic.

The Well wing-back diverts a header from the post towards the near corner, but his keeper bails him out with a stunning save.

David Marshall does superbly to keep Hibs in front.

The visitors overplay inside their own half, which allows Luke McCowan in on goal.

He fires low across Marshall, but the former Scotland keeper gets down sharply to his left to tip it round the post.

In the absence of the Green Brigade, the main noise inside Celtic Park is the beating drum coming from the small band of Motherwell fans to my right.

It's pretty quiet elsewhere in the stadium, with the Celtic fans seemingly waiting for something to get excited about. There hasn't been too much of that, with visiting keeper Liam Kelly tested just the once.

Hearts are screaming for a penalty at Tynecastle as Alan Forrest hits the deck under a challenge from Luke Robinson.

There isn't a great deal of contact, but there is some as Robinson stepped in to make the tackle, only to miss the ball.
