Well, it certainly looks like Northern Ireland are going to go for it tonight in what should be a 4-3-3 formation.

Rebecca Holloway, who has largely featured at centre back for Tanya Oxtoby, is preferred at left back ahead of Demi Vance.

Nadene Caldwell and Caragh Hamilton will provide plenty of experience, and the youth of Danielle Maxwell and Joely Andrews, who started in Albania, will provide plenty of fresh legs and enthusiasm off the bench if called upon.

It's a shame Sinead Farrelly isn't available for the Republic of Ireland. She's a class act and would have likely started after an impressive cameo off the bench against Hungary.

Eileen Gleeson makes two alterations to the Republic team which beat Hungary 1-0 in Dublin on Friday.

Izzy Atkinson and Tyler Toland drop to the bench to be replaced by Lucy Quinn, who scored in the reverse fixture between these sides, and Jamie Finn.

Sinead Farrelly drops out of the squad all together after sustaining a knock when introduced as a substitute on Friday night.

Northern Ireland v Republic of Ireland (18:00 GMT)

Tanya Oxtoby's first match as Northern Ireland manager ended in a 3-0 defeat by the Republic of Ireland when these two sides last met in Dublin in September.

In the inaugural Women's Nations League game between the sides at the Aviva Stadium, Lucy Quinn fired home a deflected opener on 30 minutes to break the deadlock.

Kyra Carusa netted a second on 71 minutes after a mix-up between Rebecca Holloway and goalkeeper Shannon Turner.

Substitute Lily Agg headed home a third with five minutes to play.

Northern Ireland v Republic of Ireland (18:00 GMT)

The Republic of Ireland, who come into this game off the back of a 1-0 victory over Hungary in Dublin, have already been promoted to League A of the Women's Nations League having won their five group games so far.

Northern Ireland beat Albania 4-0 on Friday night and another victory in Belfast for Tanya Oxtoby's side would guarantee second place and a play-off for promotion to League A.

A draw may be enough, but it would depend on Hungary's result at home to Albania.

It's fitting that this campaign started with the Republic of Ireland against Northern Ireland, and now the reverse fixture will bring things to a close.

It's also a good chance to see exactly how far both teams have progressed from that opening day in Dublin.

The Republic have dominated the group but were heavily tested last time out against Hungary, while Northern Ireland still have plenty to play for in an up and down first campaign under Tanya Oxtoby.

Not that they needed any extra motivation, but the derby feel should add some extra spice, too.
