Another huge opportunity for Joao Felix.

Barcelona break down the left with Robert Lewandowski who rolls it to Joao Cancelo and he finds Felix but his prodded effort is well saved by Jan Oblak.

Felix ended a six-game run without a goal when he scored against Porto on Tuesday and, having grabbed the opener tonight, he looks in inspired form.

I really miss watching Ilkay Gundogan in the Premier League each week.

He reads the play so well and intercepts before playing a lovely ball over the top to Robert Lewandowski.

It's eventually overrun by the striker.

Ole, ole, oooo-le.

That's the chant from the Barcelona fans as they cheer every pass made by their players.

The move doesn't come to anything and Atletico have a throw-in just over the halfway line.

Fun while it lasted.

Koke picks up a yellow, the third Atletico player to be booked in this first half, for cynically halting a Barcelona counter-attack.

A slip from Ronald Araujo allows Atletico to create an opening.

Antoine Griezmann receives the ball and drills a low shot that is blocked behind for a corner.

Araujo stays down, possibly out of embarrassment, before getting back up and preparing to face the corner.

It comes to nothing as Robert Lewandowski clears.

And another booking for Atletico.

Two of their three centre-backs are now on yellow cards as Axel Witsel follows Jose Gimenez.

Witsel left a bit in on goalscorer Joao Felix.

Mario Hermoso, who scored his first goal of the season in the win over Feyenoord on Tuesday, has a pop from just inside the box but he fires wide.

Jose Gimenez is the first player to go into the referee's notebook.

He comes to meet a high ball and lands a knee into the back of Robert Lewandowski as he heads away.

Joao Felix charges forwards and goes tumbling with help from Nahuel Molina and Axel Witsel.

Felix is livid that a free kick wasn't awarded in his favour and the home fans let the referee know their feelings too.

Not so polite now.

A ripple of applause around the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys as Barcelona press and win the ball back on the halfway line, it's so polite.

Alvaro Morata goes sprinting after Jules Kounde to try and win the ball back. I forgot the Atleti striker was on the pitch.

Just two goals in 290ish minutes of La Liga football today and they both came in the same game.

We're still waiting for the breakthrough here but there's plenty of reason to feel optimistic that it isn't too far away.

Barcelona pen Atletico back into their own box.

Jules Kounde sends in a cross, it's headed out to the opposite side where Joao Cancelo delivers a ball and it's the same end product.

Atletico have a free kick and it's sent into the box but play is halted for an offside.

Diego Simeone calls over goalkeeper Jan Oblak for a quick chat, I wonder what that could be about?

Atletico are being far too passive.

Diego Simeone's side are known for being well-organised and hard to break down but they are just standing off Barcelona and letting the hosts carve them apart.

This time Ilkay Gundogan sends a ball into the box and it's just over the head of Raphinha.

Robert Lewandowski again!

He would normally gobble up a chance like this.

Jules Kounde makes good ground down the right and delivers a low ball across the face of goal. Lewandowski finds space in the box but shins his volley well wide.
