Todd Cantwell is down clutching his ear after catching a stray elbow from Aberdeen captain Graeme Shinnie.

A shot on target, but Abdallah Sima doesn't really catch his effort on the turn and Kelle Roos gets down to save.

It all came from an Aberdeen break, which fizzled out after an ill-advised dummy from Jonny Hayes.

The Aberdeen fans get excited as their team win a corner but referee Don Robertson blows for some shoving and all the big men have to trundle back into their defensive positions.

Just seconds before that, Barry Robson was going absolutely tonto as another break for his side broke down due to a poor pass.

There's gaps there for the men in red.

Rangers are starting to build up a head of steam, pinning Aberdeen back, but neither goalkeeper has had anything to worry about yet.

Aberdeen have been direct, as we thought they might be. When they get the ball in midfield or defensive positions, it goes forward quickly.

They've not had a lot of success so far though, they've not picked up a lot of second balls.
