    Tottenham 0-0 Burnley

    Clinton Morrison
Former Republic of Ireland striker on BBC Radio 5 Live

Bentancur is such a good footballer isn't he? He just needs to get fit and get a good run of games under his belt. Spurs have missed him massively.

  8. Postpublished at 20:15 Greenwich Mean Time 5 January

    Tottenham 0-0 Burnley

Dejan Kulusevski cuts in on his left foot and shoots but it's blocked. It's not fully clear but Brennan Johnson's header is gathered in by the goalkeeper.

So close to a second goal for Fulham!

Kenny Tete gets down the right and puts in a cross. Andreas Pereira meets it and while the connection isn't the cleanest, Vikor Johansson is beaten and relieved to see the ball bounce back off the post.

Harrison Reed follows up but his goal bound shot is well blocked and despite Fulham shouts for a penalty, it's only a corner.

  10. Postpublished at 20:14 Greenwich Mean Time 5 January

    Tottenham 0-0 Burnley

Rodrigo Bentancur spins away from a challenge and slips it left to Brennan Johnson, who has seen lots of the ball so far. He can't find Giovani Lo Celso in the middle though.

  11. Postpublished at 20:12 Greenwich Mean Time 5 January

    Fulham 1-0 Rotherham

    Ronnie Moore
Ex-Rotherham manager on BBC 5 Sports Extra

Good defending from Rotherham, it's been a really good performance from the lads without having a shot on target but we're away at Fulham.

We've settled into the game really well but we just self destructed, that's the sad thing at the moment.

  12. Postpublished at 20:12 Greenwich Mean Time 5 January

    Fulham 1-0 Rotherham

Fulham nearly get in again at Craven Cottage after winning the ball back in midfield.

A lovely first-time pass from Andres Pereira finds Rodrigo Muniz, who in turn stabs the ball through to Bobby De Cordova-Reid.

However, a heavy touch means the ball runs out for a goal kick.

  13. 'Good football from Spurs'published at 20:12 Greenwich Mean Time 5 January

    Tottenham 0-0 Burnley

    Clinton Morrison

    Great football from Tottenham.

A lovely little touch around the corner from Bentancur into the path of Udogie, he then plays it to Skipp who then flicks it onto Richarlison.

Unfortunately he drags the finish wide but really good football from Spurs.

Great run by Richarlison and he's played in behind. He takes a touch to set himself but drags the shot wide of the far post.

The Calvert Lewin red card is an example of why the length of bans needs reviewing, particularly now VAR is in place. It should be one match as a starting point with a panel then deciding if it is extended based on a considered review. Managers might then be a bit more accepting of these decisions

    David.

Re Mel Eves 19:36 - I've often thought red card suspensions should be min one game, but length of suspension extended if causing injury through a dangerous tackle. So if opposition player injured for 6 months, suspension is 6 months. Would immediately stop dangerous tackles as players won't want to have a long suspension if they injure the opposition.

    Fulham 1-0 Rotherham

    Ronnie Moore
Ex-Rotherham manager on BBC 5 Sports Extra

Rodrigo Muniz is all on his own.

He waltzes past the two defenders like they are not even there.

Luckily for us he has put it past the post but with two centre halves who have no pace, you are just asking for trouble and we nearly got it.

  18. Postpublished at 20:09 Greenwich Mean Time 5 January

    Fulham 1-0 Rotherham

Rotherham lose possession after a throw-in in the Fulham half and the home side break quickly.

Rodrigo Muniz is pretty isolated when he receives the ball though and drags his shot wide from the edge of the penalty area.

  19. Postpublished at 20:08 Greenwich Mean Time 5 January

    Tottenham 0-0 Burnley

Tottenham goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario chooses to punch away a fairly routine save as Wilson Odobert hits it straight at him, but fortunately for Spurs the rebound doesn't fall to a Burnley player.

It's been a bright start from the visitors though.
