Not long until kick-off. A reminder of how they line up.
How big a miss will Virgil van Dijk - who is ill - be?

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola: "We are incredibly delighted to have him back because Kevin [de Bruyne] helps to win games. It is so important to have him back after a long injury.
"He will help us with his talent but I don't want to put all the pressure on Kevin's shoulders because it is not fair to him.
"Of course he has a special ability and quality to do something that is difficult to find. We have guys in midfield who love to run. Kevin is exceptional. He is unique. We are really pleased he is back after more than three months with injury. He had a really good assist for the Jeremy Doku goal.
"Really good to have him back."

I felt sorry for Aaron Ramsdale. I think today is significant for him. He's had a couple of matches and there was uncertainty in the game.

Since losing the 2001 final in Cardiff, Arsenal have won their last three FA Cup meetings with Liverpool, beating them 1-0 at Highbury in 2002, 3-1 at Anfield in 2007 and 2-1 at Emirates Stadium in 2014.

Manchester City attacker Phil Foden, speaking to BBC: “We’re all buzzing with result. It was a bit difficult to break them down. The first goal I scored was important, then we had more rhythm and we took our chances well.
"Delighted with he result, not an easy sided when they give everything to beat us but I thought the way we handled ourselves, didn’t get impatient, carried on playing our football – we’re delighted with the result.
“The team handles it well. We seem to come against a low block quite often. We know what to expect, we just need to be patient, find the spaces and keep switching and hopefully they’ll open up and get tired. We attacked at the right time and aggressively so it’s a great result.
On his first goal: “I picked up ball in tight area and thought I’d just put my laces through it and delighted to see it hit back of net.
On his second: “It was a nice little flick off Kova to find me, just passed it in the corner and I’m delighted to see that one go in as well.
On being a central figure for City: "I'm enjoying my football at the moment, being in the pockets and in between the lines. It’s where I want to be, I need to keep helping the team with goals and assists and be that decisive player. I’m trying to do that every game."

Starts for Curtis Jones and Cody Gakpo at the Emirates.
Midfielder Jones and forward Gakpo both made their Liverpool debuts on this date, both in the FA Cup and each time against Wolves – Jones in 2019, Gakpo in 2023.

When you are out for such a long time you do more gym work so Kevin de Bruyne does look a bit bulkier.
When the game was won it was a good time to get him on, he could just feel his way into it. He got on the ball under pressure at times and made some good passes too.
You have to tread with caution here, it is going to take a number of weeks for him to get back going.
Come on, Pablo. Anyone up for a 3-3 thriller?

I do like seeing the teams who, in my mind, will be in contention to win the FA Cup play against one another. Even though they might want to rotate some players, they do want to win because it means something.
For other teams on the outside of that, Manchester City would obviously like to retain the FA Cup, but other teams who fancy their chances of going far and winning the whole thing, they will be watching Arsenal against Liverpool.
That's because they would like an easier run to the final and that can happen if one of Arsenal and Liverpool drop out. So this tie does make for a really good game.

As we head into the transfer window, I think the Gunners have never been better at the top of the pitch. Gabriel Jesus, Gabriel Martinelli, Kai Havertz, Bukayo Saka - they have got plenty up top. Would you always like another? Yes, but then how do you fit them all in? Who is the one that is going to miss out?
I don't think they are a million miles away from where they need to be, they're just on a journey and going up against Liverpool, who have been campaigners for years, and Manchester City.
They're fighting at the top of the league and that is where they want to be.

Bristol City
Bristol City boss Liam Manning: "Delighted with the lads, especially second half. We started slowly but the way we responded was terrific.
"In the second half we showed conviction and bravery high up. I'm proud of the lads.
"The lads deserve so much credit against difficult opposition.
"We have to take the learning from it and use it as a benchmark. You can't just raise your game for Premier League opposition in the cup at a big ground. You have to transfer it into the league."

Liverpool
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp, speaking to BBC: "We're just getting through it. We had six days after the last game, which is good. Three until the next. It's tough but we got through that and now we are here. It's the FA Cup. Both us and Arsenal got a dream draw playing against each other."
On Van Dijk absence: "Virgil is ill. We were kind of lucky because the staff had it but now we have to see how he is tomorrow."
On Harvey Elliott: "It is but that sounds like there is pressure ad I don't like that. He's been fantastic for us. In the West Ham game he made the position his own position. We need Harvey on the ball. He is incredibly strong. I'm happy for him. Now Mo [Salah] is not there, he starts there."
Ahead of schedule? "I had that question a couple of times. Maybe people ask it because they think it. I don't care really. We had some good football games. We had strange things in the early parts of the season. We have found rhythm and now we have to use that."

The FA Cup feels much more real when you have a potential giant-killing. We see Premier League games week in week out. However, when it's two top teams like Arsenal and Liverpool, it's a treat.
We saw them have an amazing game in the league before Christmas and now they go again. By the way, they'll meet again in the league at the start of February.

If you're getting kicked all over the place, it means you are a good player. And that's what Bukayo Saka is - an outstanding player. It's a contact sport. These players are going to get targeted. Saka is one of the best players in the Premier League at the moment so he is going to get targeted. Saka is strong enough to take it.
FT: Shrewsbury 0-1 Wrexham
Wrexham manager Phil Parkinson told S4C: "I'm very pleased. It's a tough place to come.
"They pressed us really high in the first half, caught us out a bit but I felt we grew into the game and deserved the victory.
"They had a few chances at the end but it's a big day for us and an important win on the journey this club is on.
"We've made another statement. We've come to a solid League One club and won the game.
"Credit to Shrewsbury, it was a really hard game. We had to dig deep."

It's one win in five and I think Arsenal have become a little bit too predictable with trying to go through Bukayo Saka too much.

I think both Liverpool and Arsenal fans would say a draw is the worst result possible today. As a Liverpool fan, I'd rather us bow out than another fixture, albeit at Anfield.

Arsenal will be wearing an all-white kit for this tie. It is part of an initiative to combat youth knife crime in London.
The No More Red kit has been drained of Arsenal's traditional red.
The women's team will also wear white when they face Watford in the FA Cup fourth round on 14 January.
