Wigan are no stranger to an FA Cup upset against a fellow side from Manchester, but it is normally Man Utd's neighbours Man City on the receiving end.

The Blues were beaten 1-0 by Wigan in the FA Cup final in 2013, before knocking them out in the fifth round in 2018, despite having just 17.5% of the ball.

    Can they spring another upset?

  2. 'We've got some talent in the final third'published at 20:03 Greenwich Mean Time 8 January

Wigan v Man Utd (20:15 GMT)

Wigan boss Shaun Maloney, speaking to ITV: "It's probably the happiest I've ever been on the pitch. It was just pure joy. When I came to Wigan, I didn't think about winning trophies. When you're with Celtic, the pressure is relentless. I want to say I meant to put it in that exact area. The header was as good as you can get.

"If we have any chance tonight then we're going to need big moments from our defenders and goalkeeper. We've got some talent in the final third, we're going to need it tonight."

Tottenham v Manchester City is probably the standout tie from that then.

The lowest-ranked side Maidstone get the reward of a trip to Championship high-fliers Ipswich.

If Man Utd progress tonight then a trip to Newport or Eastleigh is among the pick of the ties too.
