    Everton 0-1 Leicester

    Rachel Brown-Finnis
Ex-England goalkeeper on BBC Red Button

    Sublime finish from Janice Cayman.

At the end of the first half I mentioned that Leicester might try to take some chances from distance in this second half, take advantage of these swirling winds. That is exactly what they have done here.

Courtney Brosnan dives but the extra wind speed takes the ball into the net before she can get there.

  3. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 13:45 Greenwich Mean Time 28 January

    Man Utd 2-1 Aston Villa

The Manchester United change now does happen, with Irene Guerrero replacing Ella Toone and Melvine Malard coming on for Geyse.

    Man Utd 2-1 Aston Villa

    Lindsay Johnson
Ex-England defender on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra

Brilliant mazy run from Hanson. It’s so direct. She gets a shot off and Earps has to get two hands to it because it’s a powerful shot. I think Hanson has got a point to prove against her old side.

  5. YELLOW CARDpublished at 13:43 Greenwich Mean Time 28 January

    Man Utd 2-1 Aston Villa

Manchester United defender Jayde Riviere is booked for time wasting after taking too long to take a throw-in.

  7. goal

GOAL - Everton 0-1 Leicesterpublished at 13:43 Greenwich Mean Time 28 January

    Janice Cayman

    Superb finish.

Leicester are patient in their build up and a ball from the right finds Janice Cayman on the edge of the area.

She spins Aurora Galli and then curls a left-footed effort into the far corner.

Courtney Brosnan tries to get across but can't get there.

  8. 'Salmon knows where the goal is'published at 13:41 Greenwich Mean Time 28 January

    Man Utd 2-1 Aston Villa

    Lindsay Johnson
Ex-England defender on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra

Ebony Salmon knows where the goal is and will definitely cause problems for that Man Utd back four.

  9. Postpublished at 13:41 Greenwich Mean Time 28 January

    Man Utd 2-1 Aston Villa

    Big save!

It's former Manchester United forward Kirsty Hanson who produces the chance for Aston Villa and Mary Earps is called into action to tip her shot away.

That's the closest Villa have come for a while.

  10. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 13:39 Greenwich Mean Time 28 January

    Man Utd 2-1 Aston Villa

Another change for Aston Villa, with Ebony Salmon replacing Adriana Leon.

Can she inject some needed life into this Aston Villa attacking line?

  11. 'Madsen will not want to see that again'published at 13:39 Greenwich Mean Time 28 January

    Everton 0-0 Leicester

    Rachel Brown-Finnis
Ex-England goalkeeper on BBC Red Button

Oh my goodness that was such a good chance!

Katja Snoejis miskicks the ball and it fortuitously falls to Rikke Madsen and she will not want to see that again. She's put it over the bar from about four yards out.

  12. CLOSE!published at 13:38 Greenwich Mean Time 28 January

    Everton 0-0 Leicester

    WHAT A MISS!

Katja Snoeijs's deflected effort falls into the path of Rikke Madsen. She's about four yards out but sends it over the bar with her left foot.

    She's got to score.

Everton have scored a league-low 10 goals this season and with finishes like that, it's not surprising.

  13. Postpublished at 13:37 Greenwich Mean Time 28 January

    Man Utd 2-1 Aston Villa

Lisa Naalsund is through on the right-hand side and tries to find Leah Galton with a cross, but it's caught by Daphne van Domselaar.

  14. Postpublished at 13:36 Greenwich Mean Time 28 January

    Man Utd 2-1 Aston Villa

Kenza Dali has an effort for Aston Villa from distance, but her shot is too powerful and fails to hit the target.

  15. 'Kuhl has slotted straight into this Everton side'published at 13:35 Greenwich Mean Time 28 January

    Everton 0-0 Leicester

    Rachel Brown-Finnis
Ex-England goalkeeper on BBC Red Button

Kathrine Kuhl has slotted straight into this Everton side, you would not think that this is her debut for the team.

She has fitted into what Brian Sorensen wants to do with this team and has been vital in creating some chances and openings for the side in that first half.

    Man Utd 2-1Aston Villa

    Lindsay Johnson

Villa have come out in the second half with a different mindset and have been more aggressive in their press. Hanson has been a real threat.

  18. 'Both teams will be disappointed to not be on the scoresheet'published at 13:34 Greenwich Mean Time 28 January

    HT: Everton 0-0 Leicester

    Rachel Brown-Finnis
Ex-England goalkeeper on BBC Red Button

It has been a pretty even game in terms of chances, Leicester have probably had the better of the game possession-wise, but Everton have made the most of their chances to counter and have used the wind to their advantage.

Both teams will be disappointed that they have been able to find the openings but have not had that clinical edge to get on the scoresheet.

  19. Postpublished at 13:33 Greenwich Mean Time 28 January

    Man Utd 2-1 Aston Villa

United continue to search for a way to restore their two-goal cushion, but they've lacked their first-half threat.

Ella Toone runs the ball out of play.
