Speaking before Tuesday's semi-final win over Japanese side Urawa Red Diamonds, Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola said the Fifa Club World Cup offers his side the chance to "close the little circle and win all the trophies we could".
City are the Premier League, Champions League, FA Cup and Uefa Super Cup holders and have also won the EFL Cup and Community Shield under Guardiola.
"It's a pleasure to be here, it's an honour," said Guardiola.
"It's the first time Man City are here. That shows how difficult it is. We won't take it for granted. We take it as a privilege.
"Of course we want to win it. It is a trophy we don't have. We want to close a little circle, that we have won all the trophies we could do. This is the last one.
"I don't know if we'll have another chance. Maybe it is a once in a lifetime. It is difficult to be here."

Since we had this format in 2005 we’ve had three South American winners – all Brazilian. All 1-0, all fighting from a trench all covering up and waiting for their moment.
That’s not how Fluminese play, they haven’t come up against anything like this. Defensively, I’m worried about them. The lack of structure can go against them.
But which City will turn up? They’ve lost intensity in the press, sloppy passing decisions, if City aren’t 100% then there’s the chance of Fluminese doing something.

I think City will have far too much for this side.
Fluminense will have a go, but I do think City will be superior.

"Thank you, Jeddah. Thank you, Fifa," shouts Bebe Rexha at the end of her performance.
There's then a spectacular firework display from the roof of the stadium.
Some money has been spent on that.

Fluminense's squad also includes 35-year-old left-back Marcelo, who won this tournament four times with Real Madrid.
They've also got former Juventus and Inter Milan midfielder Felipe Melo, who is now 40.
Their goalkeeper Fabio is even older at 43!

This is much more of a party than pre-Champions League final where someone played the piano in Istanbul.

Firstly, midfielder Andre - he's been linked with the Premier League and Liverpool made an offer during the summer. The current news is Barcelona. This is likely to be his last game for Fluminese. He does a lot for the team. He has a lot of space to cover, crucial to them.
Secondly, striker Herman Cano – one touch, two touch ball in the back of the net. Always scored goals and always made it look so simple. If he gets a chance, watch out. He scored 44 goals in 69 games last season.
And then finally, the man who links those two is a little Colombian called John Arias. Wonderful on the turn, difficult to knock off the ball. Could imagine him in a City side.

Manchester City already have four trophies in the bag in 2023.
They are the current Premier League, Champions League, FA Cup and Uefa Super Cup holders.
Will they win the Club World Cup and complete the set under Pep Guardiola?
Man City v Fluminense (18:00 GMT)
Kyle Walker, the current Man City captain, needs the Club World Cup to complete his medal haul at the club.
The right-back has been a regular part of the side this season, after struggling to hold down a place in the second part of last season.
Walker knows how big winning the tournament is - for him, the club and the fans.
"This is the first time the club has been in this competition and for the fans that have travelled from Maine Road to the Etihad and been through the stages of this club to get where it wants to be, it is mainly for them," said Walker.
"Would it be the best moment of my career? I don't know because I have experienced a lot of highs, especially with this club.
"But it would be the icing on the cake and really top off the great season we had last season. I think it would definitely be on a par with the greatest achievements."

The CV [of Fluminense head coach Fernando Diniz] is the CV of all Brazilian coaches. He’s also the national team coach.
He made his name a decade ago, playing out from the back in a style no one else was playing in Brazil.
He is compared to Guardiola but he says he’s different and has own ideas. As City are structured, Fluminese are off the cuff, lack of structure.
He is trained in psychology and his belief is the players can do more.
He’s a one-off. He's an interesting character and has become a hero to football hipsters around the world because of his way of playing possession based football is seen as the anti-Guardiola.
We’re in for an interesting tactical battle.
Man City v Fluminense (18:00 GMT)
Man City go into the final as strong favourites with European sides having won their past 21 games at the Club World Cup, dating back to 2012.
Blues boss Pep Guardiola is expecting a really tough game against Fluminense though, who won last season's Copa Libertadores to qualify for the tournament.
"We have to be resilient because of the way they play - they will demand a lot of effort - and try to be aware and precise with the ball," said Guardiola.
"The way they play, we've never faced, never. We will have to impose our rhythm and our positional game as best as possible and do a good performance, because we know without a good performance and being resilient in the bad moments it will be so difficult to win.
"They play a typical Brazil style from the 70s, 80s, early 90s - until 1994, when they won the World Cup in the United States.
"I love it. I love the build-up. I love how they associate between each other, the respect (they have) all of the time for the ball.
"I know perfectly the team we are going to play and I have huge respect for the essence of Brazilian football."
