Desperately close by Darwin Nunez as a clearance ricochets to him inside the box. The striker has his back to goal but twirls and curls an effort just wide of the far post.

Liverpool have lots of players forward as they try to find a second goal on the night. Luis Diaz has the ball on the edge of the box but can't find a gap to get a shot off before Fulham are given a free-kick after a foul by Alexis Mac Allister.

Jarell Quansah is up in the box as Liverpool attack down the right but he gets his header from Cody Gakpo's cross wrong and the chance goes.

That is a brilliant save from Bernd Leno, Darwin Nunez with his right foot tried to feed it into the far corner.

Leno gets a figure tip on it - it is a crucial save.

Bernd Leno makes an important save as Liverpool once again produce a sweeping counter, Luis Diaz picking himself up from a foul before carrying the ball forward, feeding Darwin Nunez, whose curled effort is pushed behind by the Fulham goalkeeper.

I think Darwin Nunez picked the wrong pass, he should have picked out Luis Diaz's run.

At the other end Caoimhin Kelleher makes a mess of the cross, he completely mistimes it, Andreas Pereira against the post from an angle.

Huge chances for both sides!

First, Fulham go close as Caoimhin Kelleher misses his attempt to catch Willian's ball into the box but Andreas Pereira smashes his shot onto the post.

Liverpool then break but Harvey Elliott fires straight at Bernd Leno.

Fulham are getting some joy down the left, where Liverpool are leaving some quite large gaps, and the hosts win a free-kick as Cody Gakpo fouls Tom Cairney.

A first opportunity of the half for Fulham as Willian attacks space on the left before cutting inside. He decides against the shot to instead find Bobby Decordova-Reid, but his effort is blocked by Joe Gomez.

Joe Gomez believes tonight is the night for his goal as once again he tries his luck.

Once again, there's decent power behind the shot but it is always going over.

As Luis Diaz chops in he should have shot, when he passed the chance went begging.

That was a chance to put this tie to bed.

An early warning for Fulham as they give the ball away and Liverpool break.

The ball is worked to Luis Diaz, who gets into the box and rather than shoot passes across the area, behind most of his team-mates, before Harvey Elliott drives a shot well wide.

Do Fulham have something in their pocket for this second half? Or will Liverpool close things out to reach the final?

Conor Bradley has had a good first half and he is up against Willian who is a tremendous player. Bradley is switched on and has gone forward at times, he is picking his moments.

Tonight against a good Fulham side Liverpool are still so dominant.

Liverpool are getting players back from injury and whoever they pick to play they are strong and dominant.

Liverpool have had real control of the first half and it is disappointing from Fulham's perspective as it was soft goalkeeping for the first goal.
