West Ham look promising on the counter, but they need to get more of the ball.

There's been lots of deflected shots and crosses in this game as Martin Odegaard's strike from distance hits Vladimír Coufal and, much to the relief of the West Ham player, it bounces wide of the far post.

A wasted opportunity for West Ham as they once again attack down the left but Mohammed Kudus' cross deflects off Ben White and into David Raya's gloves.

It's wonderful play. Trossard keeps his head down, a sidewinder of a volley. Nobody spotted it, a dinked cross. Those are the positions from Martinelli that make the difference.

Best chance so far as Gabriel Martinelli sends a great ball in from the right, Kai Havertz wisely ducks out of the way and Leandro Trossard connects perfectly with the volley but Alphonse Areola tips the strike over.

Wonderful play down the right hand side, Sake opens it up, it's a lovely cross. Trossard has his hands over his head. That's a big, big chance. Someone who can head well, it's a definite goal.

This is a good spell for West Ham as they come forward again, this time Jarrod Bowen attacking through the middle. He has support to his left and right but decides to go for goal and a deflection on his shot makes it a comfortable save for David Raya.

You've got to stay with your runners, Arsenal don't do that. A good covering run, Kudus on the back post thought he was a metre away from getting that.

VAR has a check of some shenanigans inside the box following the corner as Tomas Soucek goes down, but nothing is given.

A good attack by West Ham down the left as Ben Johnson sends in a dangerous low cross that Jakub Kiwior has to put behind, with Mohammed Kudus looking to pounce.

It gives the Hammers their first corner but Gabriel heads away.

West Ham's players are doing a good job of closing Arsenal players down quickly when they have the ball and the Gunners have looked a bit uncomfortable at times at being pressed high up.

West Ham are clearly looking to Mohammed Kudus to provide their moment of magic. They are getting the ball to him when they do attack but Arsenal's defence has limited Kudus' options on the ball so far.

West Ham have seven players packing their box and it is making it difficult for Arsenal to get a sight of goal as Bukayo Saka's shot is deflected behind for another corner.
