Former Tottenham midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

I've been in football for such a long time, things don't shock me any more. It rolls even further away to Declan Rice. Is there something he can't do?. He runs off with his arms down, he can't celebrate but inside there will be some fire and determination in him.

    Declan Rice

What a goal on his return to West Ham!

Declan Rice thumps an unstoppable drive from distance into the back of the net to rub more salt into the Hammers' sizeable wounds.

Rice's celebration is muted but the same cannot be said for the Arsenal fans. They are understandably loving this.

  3. 'What a performance from Arsenalpublished at 15:28 Greenwich Mean Time 11 February

    West Ham 0-5 Arsenal

    Michael Brown
Former Tottenham midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

It's a wonderful ability, Declan Rice with the move. What Saka does, he's aware of the situation steps into the space, cuts in on his right foot. A sensational finish and what a team performance from Arsenal.

Saka is quick and steps in, but he still has a lot to do. He's got that much space, he goes near post last minute. This is the last thing West Ham's players will have wanted.

    Bukayo Saka

    There's the inevitable fifth!

It is a simple but well executed goal as Martin Odegaard feeds Bukayo Saka, who cuts inside and has the whole goal to aim for and he drives a shot beyond Alphonse Areola's left.

Some of the more hopeful West Ham fans are now joining those who left earlier in heading home.

    Michael Brown
Former Tottenham midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

The oles are coming out now from the Arsenal fans. They want to showboat, show their skills and enjoy their football. It doesn't really get any better for them.

West Ham are capable of getting results, surprising big teams, but they've just not done that today.

    West Ham 0-4 Arsenal

    Michael Brown
Former Tottenham midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

A brilliant move from everyone involved. Saka just drifts across the face of the goal, gets the snapshot away and it's a good save from Areola.

  8. CLOSE!published at 60 mins

Good chance for Arsenal to add a fifth as Bukayo Saka runs across the area and is eventually able to find the space to get a shot off but Alphonse Areola saves.

    West Ham 0-4 Arsenal

    Michael Brown
Former Tottenham midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

It's a big second half for the football club. West Ham's players have to show fight, heart. Can they be brave and make things happen on the ball? They've got a chance to make something happen in this game.

  11. Postpublished at 55 mins

    West Ham 0-4 Arsenal

Another Arsenal attack but this time Emerson hooks the ball away from the feet of Bukayo Saka as the forward just got into the West Ham box.

  12. Postpublished at 53 mins

    West Ham 0-4 Arsenal

Not by much, but Arsenal have the worst goal difference of the top three so rather than ease off you'd imagine they will keep going for more with an opportunity to boost that goals for tally.

  13. 'Arsenal have been really clinical'published at 15:14 Greenwich Mean Time 11 February

    West Ham 0-4 Arsenal

    Michael Brown
Former Tottenham midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

Arsenal have been really clinical, really good at moving people about. What is West Ham's reaction going to be? How are they going to do something? The stadium is very quiet.

Kai Havertz has a go from distance and he is not far off with a low strike that fizzes just wide of the far post.

  15. Postpublished at 49 mins

Early days but this is looking like a continuation of the first half with Arsenal doing all the attacking as Gabriel Martinelli floats a header over the bar.

  16. 'West Ham were so bad in the first half'published at 15:10 Greenwich Mean Time 11 February

    West Ham 0-4 Arsenal

    Michael Brown
Former Tottenham midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

West Ham are going to have to improve fast because that first half performance was so bad.

  17. Postpublished at 48 mins

Arsenal are straight on the attack but fortunately for the West Ham defence Leandro Trossard's shooting boots still need warming up as he lashes a shot high over the bar.

  18. KICK-OFFpublished at 46 mins

    West Ham 0-4 Arsenal

West Ham make a double change as Kalvin Phillips and Konstantinos Mavropanos come on for Edson Alvarez and Kurt Zouma.

Arsenal are happy to stick with the 11 that helped them score four first-half goals.

    We're back under way.

  19. 'West Ham lacking fight and desire'published at 15:06 Greenwich Mean Time 11 February

    West Ham 0-4 Arsenal

    Michael Brown
Former Tottenham midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

West Ham have always got fight and desire, but they've not shown that and 2-0 quickly became 4-0 before half-time.

Good deliveries from Declan Rice, there was a couple of times they were waiting for that but went short. Deliveries are good, people are attacking. Kalvin Phillips is on the pitch warming up now, but if I was him, I wouldn't want to be coming on and wait for next week.

  20. Postpublished at 15:03 Greenwich Mean Time 11 February

    West Ham 0-4 Arsenal

Arsenal are leading a Premier League away game by a 4+ goal margin at half-time for the first time since February 2011 at Newcastle, a game that was eventually drawn 4-4.

It would take quite the turnaround for West Ham to get back to 4-4 in this game.
