Villa again come down the left and work the ball into the visitors' penalty area but Andre Onana pounces on the ball with Leon Bailey trying to get round Luke Shaw's frame.

The ball is floated over in the direction of Man Utd defender Harry Maguire but the flag goes up as he heads it back across goal.

A rare visitors attack, well in the last 10 minutes anyway, brings them a corner.

Casemiro is not happy. He picks up a yellow card for a trip on Matty Cash. The Brazil midfielder pleads his innocence and to be honest, he has a case. There was not much contact, if any at all, on the Aston Villa full-back.

It's a dive from Hojlund, even if it was a foul the referee was never going to give that after not giving one at the other end.

The visitors try to spring a counter attack but Rasmus Hojlund goes down a little too easily for referee Robert Jones on the edge of the Aston Villa area.

That is twice Andre Onana has had to dash out of his penalty area to clear.

In addition to his superb saves to deny John McGinn and Ollie Watkins, the Manchester United goalkeeper is having a busy day.

The Cameroon international has been treated for an injury as well and he is not looking that comfortable.

Another ball over the top of the Man Utd defence has Andre Onana rushing out even though Raphael Varane is in complete control of the situation.

Again the Cameroon goalkeeper makes a hash of his clearance and gifts the home side possession.

Raphael Varane feeds Alejandro Garnacho down the right for Man Utd but he's put too much on that cross for Rasmus Hojlund.

Casemiro is down after being clipped but should be fine. The visitors are very much trying to take the sting out of this game.

There have been plenty of questions asked of Erik ten Hag about his decision to pursue a deal for Rasmus Hojlund rather than push for experience in the form of England skipper Harry Kane in the summer.

Now we are starting to see what Hojlund is capable of.

His latest goal was not the hardest clearly. But he put himself right in the centre of the six-yard box, just in case something came his way and Harry Maguire did the rest.

The Dane is playing with immense confidence now. He looks like a different player.

The form Ollie Watkins is in, he should score. The touch from McGinn is outstanding and Watkins should dink it over the goalkeeper. It's easy saying it up here, I've been there.

Aston Villa are getting loads of joy down the left, with Jacob Ramsey just tucking inside.

The midfielder picks up the ball and drives into the Man Utd area but can't find the far right corner.

And again from Andre Onana, who races out and spreads himself to save with Ollie Watkins through on goal.

Onana doesn't deal with it, good play from Watkins. Onana's save is world class, McGinn's strike is so clean. It would've been better in the corner, but it's still a powerful strike.

What a save that is from Andre Onana, who brilliantly turns John McGinn's shot away from the top corner.

The Man Utd goalkeeper could arguably have allowed Luke Shaw to head the ball back to him in the first place to avert that situation but he more than makes up for it.

This is better from the hosts, who play the ball from left to right into the feet of Leon Bailey.

The Jamaica forward looks up and tries to curl the ball towards the back stick but overcooks it.
