The Aston Villa fans have decided Bruno Fernandes is public enemy number one from the Manchester United camp.

The Portuguese has been booed when he went to take a couple of corners and a throw.

In fairness, Fernandes doesn't help himself with the way he whinges to referees and goes to ground so easily.

Alejandro Garnacho fizzes a left foot shot wide. The visitors have looked pretty sharp so far and full of attacking intent.

I'm all for playing out from the back, but you have to know where and when. United have pressed so well, a great block from Carlos but Hojlund doesn't get the ball out of his feet. Good defending.

The Argentine tries to square the ball for Rasmus Hojlund to give the Dane a tap in but Aston Villa defender Diego Carlos clears for a corner.

West Ham United

West Ham boss David Moyes, speaking to Sky Sports: "Yes, it certainly is [up there as one of the most disappointing days as manager of West Ham]. It's one of those days which you don't want to happen very often, and it happened today.

"It's not been like my teams in the past. I'll take a bit of time and look at it and see if I can fix it. I take the responsibility, I pick the team but the players have to take respinsibility.

"It's really important we do those jobs really well. We will always try to be as well organised as we can be. Arsenal were very good - we mustn't take that away. We weren't good.

"Yeah [fans leaving the ground at half-time]. I'm a football supporter. I understand that. I don't think the direction the club is heading in is the wrong direction. It's grown greatly since we came in. We were fighting relegation. We're not fighting relegation today.

"We were playing one of the top teams in the country who we took three points off earlier in the season so I have to say the club is in a really good place. We've had setbacks through the season and we'll try and come back from this one the best we can."

Aston Villa fans were saying to me that without Ezri Konsa, they have struggled because he is the one who is the most comfortable on the ball in defence and has the ability to start the attacks, which has been lacking without him.

Just for a moment Manchester United think they have Rasmus Hojlund in down the left but up goes the assistant referee's flag.

It is interesting to see Harry Maguire on the left of Manchester United's central defence today.

Manager Erik ten Hag has repeatedly spoken about his belief Maguire is not suited to that position, even though he plays there for England.

He messed about with his team so many times rather than let Maguire play there.

All that is forgotten now.

A long kick forward by away goalkeeper Andre Onana goes straight out of play. Another moment the home fans take great pleasure in.

It is loud and a little raucous at Villa Park.
