  1. GREAT SAVE!published at 15:22 Greenwich Mean Time 2 January

    Rangers 0-0 Kilmarnock

Abdallah Sima's shot takes a deflection and forces a re-positioning from Kilmarnock goalkeeper Will Dennis. He's up to the task and the ball is turned out.

Rangers infringe at the corner and the attacking sequence is ended.

Injury blow for Kilmarnock, though, as Liam Donnelly comes off to be replaced by David Watson.

  2. 'Killie game plan working well'published at 15:21 Greenwich Mean Time 2 January

    Rangers 0-0 Kilmarnock

    Derek Ferguson
Former Rangers midfielder on BBC Sportsound

You can see the game plan from Derek McInnes.

Kilmarnock have five across the midfield, it's packed. They're trying to deny Rangers time and space in their own half and they're doing it pretty well.

The way for Rangers is to get down the flanks.

  3. Postpublished at 15:20 Greenwich Mean Time 2 January

    Hibernian 0-0 Motherwell

    Better stuff from Motherwell now.

A ball in behind releases Mika Biereth and the striker slips it to Harry Paton.

The midfielder gets a shot away from a tight angle but it hits the side of the net.

  4. YELLOW CARDpublished at 15:19 Greenwich Mean Time 2 January

    Rangers 0-0 Kilmarnock

First real sight of goal for Kilmarnock but Corrie Ndaba cannot keep his effort down after Danny Armstrong's delivery is cleared.

Rangers' Todd Cantwell is booked for dissent, it would seem, after he was unhappy with a challenge on him while the ball was still live.

  6. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 15:14 Greenwich Mean Time 2 January

    Rangers 0-0 Kilmarnock

Cyriel Dessers' turn and shot hits the outside of the post and out.

The Rangers forward may have been better going for the far corner in that instance.

  7. DISALLOWED GOALpublished at 15:13 Greenwich Mean Time 2 January

    Livingston 0-0 Hearts

    Maybe not.

It's been about three minutes, but the goal has been chalked off!

Kurtis Guthrie was offside. That's a brilliant spot by the VAR official Chris Graham.

  8. GREAT SAVE!published at 15:12 Greenwich Mean Time 2 January

    Hibernian 0-0 Motherwell

Christian Doidge controls a corner, swivels and lashes the ball on target.

But Liam Kelly flings himself down to make a good save.

Hibs are all over Motherwell at the moment.

  9. Postpublished at 15:11 Greenwich Mean Time 2 January

    Ross County 0-0 Aberdeen

A lovely through ball from Leighton Clarkson unpicks the Ross County defence, but Ross Laidlaw does well to race off his line and beat Dante Polvara to the ball.

  10. Postpublished at 15:11 Greenwich Mean Time 2 January

    Hibernian 0-0 Motherwell

Hibs are tearing Motherwell to shreds down their right-hand side.

Stephen O'Donnell is the right centre-back and Blair Spittal is the makeshift right wing-back and Jair Tavares and Jordan Obita are having a field day so far.

Another cross from Tavares is fizzed into the box.

  11. Postpublished at 15:10 Greenwich Mean Time 2 January

    Rangers 0-0 Kilmarnock

Stuart Findlay does well to snuff out the danger after Abdallah Sima tries to find Cyriel Dessers in the Kilmarnock six-yard box.

    Biggest opening so far.

  12. goal

GOAL! Livingston 1-0 Heartspublished at 15:10 Greenwich Mean Time 2 January

    Kurtis Guthrie

Livingston have started far better and they get a deserved goal - their first at home since 7 October.

Andrew Shinnie whips a decent ball in from the left and Kurtis Guthrie rises brilliantly to flick a header into the far corner.

Hang on. There's an offside check. It's taking a while.

    Rangers 0-0 Kilmarnock

    Andy Burke
    BBC Scotland at Ibrox

Ibrox falls silent just before kick-off as Rangers remember the 66 supporters who lost their lives in the disaster at the stadium on 2 January 1971.

As the whistle goes the fans crank up the noise.

They know nothing less than three points will do today to keep the pressure on Celtic after their derby defeat.

  14. Will Fabio make a cameo?published at 15:06 Greenwich Mean Time 2 January

  15. Postpublished at 15:05 Greenwich Mean Time 2 January

    Hibernian 0-0 Motherwell

That's brilliant work from Jair Tavares as he surges down the left and passes the ball across the goal, but Dylan Vente and Christian Doidge can't get on the end of it.

  16. CLOSE!published at 15:05 Greenwich Mean Time 2 January

    Livingston 0-0 Hearts

    Almost a rare Livingston goal.

A corner is swung on to the head of Ayo Obileye and Zander Clark makes a superb save to deny him.

The ball comes back to Obileye and he ends up prodding just off target.

    Not far away at all.

  17. KICK-OFFpublished at 15:01 Greenwich Mean Time 2 January

Away we go across the country.

Let's start off the year right...

  18. 'We've always bounced back' - Robsonpublished at 15:01 Greenwich Mean Time 2 January

    Ross County v Aberdeen (15:00)

Aberdeen manager Barry Robson tells BBC Scotland: "We were always going to freshen the team up.

"In football you can't dwell on things. We've got to come up here, put a performance on for our fans and try to win the game.

"With these players we've had some big games and they have always bounced back.

"We've got some real good characters in there. They are great to work with, we just need to get that consistency we've been lacking.

"County are a good side, it's a tight pitch - always a difficult game."

  19. Motherwell light on numbers for Leith trippublished at 15:00 Greenwich Mean Time 2 January

    Hibernian v Motherwell (15:00)

Motherwell manager Stuart Kettlewell tells BBC Scotland: "In simple terms, we've got 12 senior players available to us. It enforces a few changes. At this stage of the season it's not necessarily a bad thing so I hope it freshens things up. But they are enforced.

"It gives us the opportunity to have under-18 players on the bench today which is a bit of a novelty in a sense. But I believe in them.

"They have areas to improve before becoming established players but this becomes a fantastic experience for them, especially if some get on the pitch.

"We have to make sure we're absolutely focussed because this is one of the toughest venues to come to."

  20. Montgomery looks to youth to play partpublished at 14:59 Greenwich Mean Time 2 January

    Hibernian v Motherwell (15:00)

Hibernian manager Nick Montgomery is missing several key players to injury and international duty, but he says it is an opportunity for youth to play its part.

"It is what it is, but we can look at it as a positive," he tells BBC Scotland.

"This club was built on young players coming through the academy and we've already seen that with Rory [Whittaker], Rudi [Molotnikov], Josh Landers and now there are a couple on the bench today.

"It's a good opportunity for some of the fringe players who have been desperate for game time, like Christian Doidge. I'm really looking forward to seeing him play today."
