  1. 'Forest in cruise control'published at 20:22 Greenwich Mean Time 17 January

    Blackpool 0-1 Nottingham Forest

    Charlie Adam
Former Blackpool midfielder and current Fleetwood Town manager on BBC Radio 5 Live

Blackpool are huffing and puffing at the moment, just waiting for someone to spark the game alive for them. Will it be Hamilton? Will it be Carey doing something to spark this place into life?

At the moment I think Forest are just in cruise control.

  2. YELLOW CARDpublished at 20:21 Greenwich Mean Time 17 January

    Blackpool 0-1 Nottingham Forest

Quick thinking from Blackpool, as a long throw almost sets Jordan Rhodes in behind and he wins a corner off Murillo.

The Forest centre back then stupidly kicks the ball hard into a pocket of Blackpool fans in the crowd, in frustration. He immediately apologises to the supporters, but is also booked.

    The corner comes to nothing.

Given our abysmal record against Liverpool I can fully understand that the players don't fancy being embarrassed again in front of the live TV cameras in round 4. Having said that, they are making a good job of being embarrassed on a weekly basis this season.

    John, Norwich fan in Norfolk

Forest's kit designed to blend in with and confuse Blackpool. Genius!

It shouldn't have been, but this was picked for live TV coverage when the sides met at Selhurst Park on 4 January. It ended goalless. The replay hasn't been picked for live coverage and rightly so. It's not great.

  5. 'Plenty of time for Blackpool'published at 20:18 Greenwich Mean Time 17 January

    Blackpool 0-1 Nottingham Forest

    Charlie Adam
Former Blackpool midfielder and current Fleetwood Town manager on BBC Radio 5 Live

There is plenty of time left for Blackpool in this tie.

You know Forest are going to have spells of possession but when you do get the ball you need to use it, and use it well.

They have to be brave, get some patterns of play going, and they can't be forcing the long diagonal passes and giving the ball away cheaply.

  6. Postpublished at 20:17 Greenwich Mean Time 17 January

    Blackpool 0-1 Nottingham Forest

The Bloomfield Road crowd rouse themselves as CJ Hamilton earns a corner for the hosts.

It's headed away as far as Albie Morgan, but for the second time tonight the central midfielder drags a 25-yard effort harmlessly wide.

  7. Postpublished at 20:16 Greenwich Mean Time 17 January

    Everton 0-0 Crystal Palace

Two decent chances for Palace. Joao Virgínia produces a fine stop to keep out the dangerous Eberechi Eze before Jeffrey Schlupp fires wide.

    The visitors are looking dangerous.

Double down vote BR... Massively love 3rd round replays... That is totally the FA Cup. If we lose this as well as having to live with VAR ruining the chance to celebrate goals and non contact football and penalties for anything touching hands then I'm handing my scarf in and walking away from the game...

Dominic, Inverness - Massive FA cup fan, especially a midweek replay

For BR at 20:02 - Actually a lot of us want replays to stay. They’re a part of cup tradition. The competition has been diminished enough in recent years, let’s not tamper with it any further.

    Ashley, York

Re: BR 20:01 it’s not just about progressing in the cup for small clubs, it’s about revenue. It can change their season. Give a non league club a home tie against MU and they’d probably rather draw and replay at Old Trafford than win. It’s only the top 2 divisions that are really against replays.

    Blackpool 0-1 Nottingham Forest

Blackpool put together their first decent move for a while, ending in left back James Husband having a low cross blocked.

    Forest remain well on top.

  10. Postpublished at 20:12 Greenwich Mean Time 17 January

    Bristol Rovers 1-0 Norwich

Luke McCormick started his career at Chelsea. And his goal has got Bristol Rovers fans dreaming of a trip to Anfield. League One Bristol Rovers are good value for their lead.

  11. 'Premier League quality and depth showing for Forest'published at 20:11 Greenwich Mean Time 17 January

    Blackpool 0-1 Nottingham Forest

    Charlie Adam
Former Blackpool midfielder and current Fleetwood Town manager on BBC Radio 5 Live

I'm just looking at the Forest side out there, and despite six players being at AFCON and several out injured they are playing with such quality.

It just shows the level of the Premier League to be able to have such a side even with so many absentees.

Nuno has a good squad to work with; a lot of that is down to Steve Cooper's previous recruitment and what the club could bring into the building.

  12. Postpublished at 20:10 Greenwich Mean Time 17 January

    Blackpool 0-1 Nottingham Forest

How do Blackpool respond to this setback? This is the first time across either match against Forest this season that they have trailed.

The Tangerines are yet to test Forest keeper Odysseas Vlachodimos.

  13. Postpublished at 20:09 Greenwich Mean Time 17 January

    Everton 0-0 Crystal Palace

Jack Harrison goes down inside the Palace box and Everton's fans are screaming for a penalty. VAR is in operation at Goodison and the incident is checked as play goes on.

What are Forest wearing? There are some pretty interesting kits around at the moment but that one is simply awful. It's making me feel a bit nauseous. It's horrible.

  15. 'Blackpool didn't get either first or second contact'published at 20:06 Greenwich Mean Time 17 January

    Blackpool 0-1 Nottingham Forest

    Charlie Adam
Former Blackpool midfielder and current Fleetwood Town manager on BBC Radio 5 Live

If you don't get first contact, make sure you get the second, and Blackpool didn't get either.

Forest had started to dominate possession, it's been coming and now they've got the first goal.

  16. Postpublished at 20:06 Greenwich Mean Time 17 January

    Blackpool 0-1 Nottingham Forest

Following his goal, Andrew Omobamidele held up a shirt with the message 'Thinking of you, Cheikhou Kouyate' and his number 8 on the back.

Forest midfielder Kouyate left Senegal's Africa Cup of Nations camp today following the death of his father.

  17. goal

GOAL - Bristol Rovers 1-0 Norwichpublished at 20:05 Greenwich Mean Time 17 January

    Luke McCormick

    Oh hello!

Bristol Rovers strike first thanks to a wonderful finish by Luke McCormick.

The ball falls to him on the edge of the box following a Rovers corner and he smashes it into the bottom-left corner on the volley.

  18. Postpublished at 20:05 Greenwich Mean Time 17 January

A decent spell of Palace pressure ends with Tyrick Mitchell firing well wide. That's their first serious attempt.

  19. goal

GOAL - Blackpool 0-1 Nottingham Forestpublished at 20:04 Greenwich Mean Time 17 January

    Andrew Omobamidele (17 mins)

    On his debut!

Another corner by Forest causes Blackpool problems, this time an outswinger by Nicolas Domínguez. It is flicked on by Ryan Yates to the far post, and Ireland international Andrew Omobamidele slips in unmarked to fire home.

Signed for £11m on deadline day, Omobamidele has had to wait for his chance but has made a statement tonight.

Sean Dyche and his approach to the off-field drama is inspirational. We control the controllables and go again. Everything else is just noise!
