I think in real time, I thought it was a collision but seeing the replay, Fabian Schar's reaction, he knew he was in a foot race against Muniz that he was never winning.

Fabian Schar is run down the line by Rodrigo Muniz, the defender tries to see him out but catches the forward and he's in the book.

Again they get in down the right side behind Dan Burn. Harry Wilson just passes to Rodrigo Muniz and he scuffs it a bit, he doesn’t catch it as well as he could have but it’s on target and needed to be saved.

A decent watch, a good game and we just need that opening goal. There are already four fourth-round replays to be scheduled...

It's a world class save, once Muniz takes the shot he thinks he's scored. On the stretch, Dubravka gets his fingertips to it. It's a world class save.

What a save! Harry Wilson does well on the Fulham right to run at the defence and pick out Rodrigo Muniz in the middle. His shot is placed in the corner but Martin Dúbravka gets down well, really well to save!

Rodak was in a world of trouble from the ball in. Gordon got a lucky break on the edge of the box and hit a fantastic shot, but the ball in caught Rodak off guard there and it almost found its way in.

Newcastle go close again - twice! Kieran Trippier plays a short corner and whips the returned ball in, it just needs a touch and Marek Rodak does well actually to claw it out.

Anthony Gordon picks up the pieces and flashes in a low shot that skims wide.

They look fresh and refreshed so far. Fulham gave Liverpool a good test in midweek but they have made a lot of changes to freshen up also. Anthony Gordon looks dangerous on the Newcastle left as Dan Burn overlaps to win a corner.

Don't underestimate the importance of time on the training ground. With all of the competitions Newcastle have been in, they've not had time, but they've had two weeks going into this.

Both sides are zipping some passes around on this marvellous Craven Cottage surface. A good high-tempo start and Newcastle could be ahead already.

Newcastle have a manager and the fans won't want to see a change. Since Eddie Howe took over, the football has been sensational. Not just the players he has signed, but the players that were there already, he's improved them a lot.
