  1. Postpublished at 20:15 Greenwich Mean Time 24 January

    Hibernian 0-0 Rangers

Fabio Silva did well to prevent a goal-kick as he sprinted after the ball there. Decent pace from the big man.

  2. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 20:12 Greenwich Mean Time 24 January

    Hibernian 0-0 Rangers

Easter Road rises as the Hibs fans shout for handball.

Dylan Vente's header certainly ricocheted off Leon Balogun, but his arms weren't really out from his body. Tough to tell these days, but I think that would have been harsh.

  3. Postpublished at 20:10 Greenwich Mean Time 24 January

We're needing a bit of a lift here, folks.

The ceilidh music downstairs has stopped too. This is all I've got, so let's kick it up a gear.

  4. 'Silva needs runners'published at 20:08 Greenwich Mean Time 24 January

    Hibernian 0-0 Rangers

    Kenny Miller
Former Rangers & Hibernian striker on BBC Sportsound

Fabio Silva isn't scared to run in behind, but I think he needs runners going beyond him as well.

  5. Postpublished at 20:07 Greenwich Mean Time 24 January

    Hibernian 0-0 Rangers

Biggest chance of the game spurned at Easter Road.

A Hibs heads flicks on a Rangers corner backwards, and Rabbi Matondo simply has to prod it home. The winger can't connect and it's a look of frustration.

  6. 'Scrappy affair'published at 20:05 Greenwich Mean Time 24 January

    St Johnstone 0-0 Aberdeen

    Tyrone Smith
    BBC Scotland at McDiarmid Park

St Johnstone now appear to have settled, or are at least seeing more of the ball.

I should add that after an encouraging start, the game has got a bit scrappy.

  7. Postpublished at 20:04 Greenwich Mean Time 24 January

    Hibernian 0-0 Rangers

Piledriver from Ridvan Yilmaz that flies into the Famous Five stand.

David Marshall untroubled as of yet.

  8. Postpublished at 20:02 Greenwich Mean Time 24 January

    Hibernian 0-0 Rangers

Rabbi Matondo skips past Kanayo Megwa again.

You can give the Rangers winger credit, but he gives the ball straight back to Hibs for the second time in a row.

The travelling support will be after more cutting edge.

  9. Postpublished at 20:00 Greenwich Mean Time 24 January

    Hibernian 0-0 Rangers

No real pattern of play as Ibrox as of yet. Both sides getting their foot on the ball and trying to pressurise the opposition.

  10. 'Intriguing battle'published at 19:58 Greenwich Mean Time 24 January

    Hibernian 0-0 Rangers

    Kenny Miller
Former Rangers & Hibernian striker on BBC Sportsound

It's going to be an interesting battle down the Rangers left between Matondo and young Megwa.

  11. YELLOW CARDpublished at 19:58 Greenwich Mean Time 24 January

    Hibernian 0-0 Rangers

    Frustrating stuff from Elie Youan.

The Frenchman's attempts at showboating backfire and his pocket is picked by Ridvan Yilmaz. Youan brings him down, and gets a booking for his troubles.

  12. Postpublished at 19:56 Greenwich Mean Time 24 January

    Hibernian 0-0 Rangers

Rabbi Matondo welcoming young Kanayo Megwa to the big time.

He skips past the 18-year-old and scurries into the box. Lacking the final ball, but that's a warning shot to the Hibs right-back.

  13. Postpublished at 19:54 Greenwich Mean Time 24 January

    St Johnstone 0-0 Aberdeen

Dante Polvara stings the palms of Saints keeper Dimitar Mitov with a fierce shot from the edge of the box.

Aberdeen are dominating the game at the moment.

  14. Postpublished at 19:52 Greenwich Mean Time 24 January

    Hibernian 0-0 Rangers

Hibs still determined to play out from the back. Unwavering principles of this Nick Montgomery side.

  15. 'Aberdeen looking lively'published at 19:51 Greenwich Mean Time 24 January

    St Johnstone 0-0 Aberdeen

    Tyrone Smith
    BBC Scotland at McDiarmid Park

A lively start by Aberdeen, who have been playing some pretty nice stuff in the opening few minutes, particularly down the right hand side.

They have managed to get themselves into a couple of good positions already.

  16. 'Never beating Butland from there'published at 19:51 Greenwich Mean Time 24 January

    Hibernian 0-0 Rangers

    Kenny Miller
Former Rangers & Hibernian striker on BBC Sportsound

I thought the pass to Youan was just a bit heavy.

He couldn't get inside to hit it with his stronger right foot.

It would've taken a special effort to beat Butland from there.

  17. Postpublished at 19:50 Greenwich Mean Time 24 January

    St Johnstone 0-0 Aberdeen

Aberdeen produce a free kick move which catches St Johnstone out.

Instead of a cross, the ball is slipped to Jamie McGrath in the box, but his low pass is cut out at the near post.

  18. Postpublished at 19:50 Greenwich Mean Time 24 January

    Hibernian 0-0 Rangers

Leon Balogun is down holding his shoulder after he clattered into Myziane Maolida.

The Hibs fans were after a penalty there.

  19. Postpublished at 19:49 Greenwich Mean Time 24 January

    Hibernian 0-0 Rangers

Early corner for Rangers after some Fabio Silva hold-up play.

It's repelled and it sparks a searing counter for Hibs. A brilliant pass from Dylan Levitt releases Elie Youan, whose effort is off the legs of Jack Butland.

    Quick start.

  20. KICK-OFFpublished at 19:47 Greenwich Mean Time 24 January
