Katrina Gorry is a top signing, I was really impressed with her at the World Cup for Australia as well.

Last week against Bristol City she had nine interceptions and won 23 duels, that is huge for a midfielder.

I think that is what West Ham were missing earlier on in the season. A bit of experience in midfield, someone who is going to get stuck in.

Geyse is really enjoying herself down the right-hand side. But other than that, United are not opening up enough spaces in Brighton's backline. The Brazilian is creating most of their chances.

One thing we have seen in West Ham's game so far this afternoon is that they will be physical. They won't let Arsenal have things all their own way, they will try to frustrate them and try to make chances on the counter.

They know that they need to be disciplined because if they go too open Arsenal have the quality to be able to pick them off. The longer it stays 0-0 the more they will grow in confidence.

Five minutes of added time at the end of the first half at Leigh Sports Village.

Not too far away for Manchester United.

Geyse provides the ball to Ella Toone in a similar fashion to the creation of Nikita Parris' goal, but Toone fires wide of the target.

Don't let it bounce! It is windy and a gust causes a problem in the Arsenal defence momentarily but Leah Williamson takes charge, chesting down and booming the ball down the line. West Ham will be happy enough with this opening 10 minutes.

Brighton can't make much of it.

Maria Thorisdottir tries to flick it towards goal but heads wide of the far post.

The referee blows her whistle as Brighton's Emma Kullberg is fouled around 30 yards from goal.

Can Brighton make anything of this chance?

Vicky Losada is back on the field with five minutes of the first half remaining.

Better from the Hammers as they win a free-kick wide on the right and Kirsty Smith's ball in is a good one. Arsenal have to defend stoutly and Lotte Wubben-Moy does well to clear.

Leah Williamson has started well, as you'd expect. Class is permanent and all that.

Vicky Losada hobbles off the pitch and continues to receive treatment.

West Ham are banking up behind the ball to make it harder for Arsenal to play through them, but eventually you need to step out and get up the pitch.

At the moment they are getting deeper and deeper towards their own box, and that just allows Arsenal room to come forward and pick passes.

It remains a case of one-way traffic at Leigh Sports Village.

Vivianne Miedema nicks the ball off a West Ham defender and looks to slide in Alessia Russo but the Hammers scramble well to clear. Beth Mead's corner is then just about dealt with. So much starpower in this Arsenal XI.
