So, as it stands, Chelsea are still topping the table on goal difference.

    Kingsmeadow is silent though.

The main thing this season is last season, Bunny Shaw created a lot of chances but wasn't clinical enough.

That's something she has worked on this season and she is a lot more clinical.

Khadija Shaw's celebration was aimed towards the Chelsea fans as she cupped her hand around her ear as if to say "I can't hear you".

The travelling fans to our left were banging the metal boards to make themselves heard.

It was Erin Cuthbert who lost possession, the Chelsea captain today, who has been so intrumental for them this season - so she will be really disappointed.

Jess Park continues to impress in this new midfield role and that was more great work from her.

What was I saying about City lacking in attack?

They come forward again through Khadija Shaw who drags a shot from range just wide. Manchester City are unbeaten after taking the lead this season.

  5. 'That comes from Jess Park's commitment to the press'published at 19:31 Greenwich Mean Time 16 February

It is interesting as well because we have Gareth Taylor below us and he is telling his players to press.

Park does really well and Bunny Shaw finishes well. Jess Carter can't get anywhere near her but that all comes from Jess Park committing. It's a great finish from Shaw straight past Hannah Hampton.

A HUGE SWING IN THE TITLE RACE!

Erin Cuthbert gets caught in possession by Jess Park who drives forward before setting up Khadija Shaw, who pokes Manchester City into the lead.

It's Shaw's 14th of the season, and her first ever against Chelsea.

Lauren Hemp beats Chelsea defender Ashley Lawrence with a feint, but her cross is easily gathered by keeper Hannah Hampton.

It's pretty in possession for City, but they're not putting Chelsea in any danger.

Well, now City do attack and Chloe Kelly wins a corner with her cross blocked behind.

    It's cleared though.

It's all well and good, but you have got to know when to speed the game up. Especially against a team like Chelsea, you have to go at pace.

You can see the City DNA, going wide with Kelly and Hemp.

Manchester City have had plenty of the ball but haven't really created much yet.

Chelsea have looked dangerous on the break. They seem happy to let City have the ball because Mayra Ramirez is on the move as soon as they win it back looking for that early throughball.

Manchester City defender Laia Aleixandri looks to be in a spot of danger but wiggles past Fran Kirby like she's prime Ronaldinho.

    Top footwork from the centre-back.

Melanie Leupoltz the most under-rated player in this Chelsea team, but clearly not by Emma as big games it's always her & Cuthbert. Against us (MU Women) last month, Lauren James & co got all the headlines but Leupoltz & Cuthbert absolutely bossed the game

    Almost.

Nathalie Bjorn has a free header in the area but she nods Erin Cuthbert's corner straight at City keeper Khiara Keating.

    Haha fair point Kev!

It's Chelsea pushing now by the way. Fran Kirby cuts the ball back to Erin Cuthbert whose shot is blocked by Alex Greenwood.

    Corner.

The emphasis on City Women's 10 wins in a row giving them confidence ignores Chelsea's identical run presumably giving them confidence too.

You hear that? That's Kingsmeadow roaring as Lauren James gets on the ball and drives forward.

She can't quite open up the space this time though, but she looks pumped and up for this.

Fair play to Manchester City's supporters as there's a decent number of them who have travelled down from up north.

Among those cheering on Chelsea is injured striker Sam Kerr - without crutches - and her fiance, West Ham midfielder Kristie Mewis.

Promising start for City as Chloe Kelly whips in a deep cross that falls to Lauren Hemp in the area, but the winger can't craft a chance.

City are happy to knock the ball around, until Khadija Shaw is flagged for offside.
