Katrina Gorry does really well to lose her marker and releases Riko Ueki but the Japan forward's first touch gets away from her.

That's good play from Manchester United as Ella Toone finds Lisa Naalsund wide on the right.

Naalsund floats one over to the far post but it's just a bit too high for Lucia Garcia to get anything on it.

West Ham are being pegged back into their own half as they try to come forward but Emma Snerle slots a good ball through for Viviane Asseyi to unlock the away side's defence. But then it's wasted and the Hammers are back to square one.

All a bit frantic in the six-yard box as West Ham hunt for an equaliser but it's eventually hooked away by Manchester United.

West Ham were just starting to get on top in the game so it feels like those substitutions were almost made by Marc Skinner to kerb that momentum as much as get some fresh legs out there.

West Ham are going to take the opportunity to make a change. On comes Emma Snerle for Jess Ziu, who played two games during the international break for the Republic of Ireland.

Millie Turner is also going to have to come off and she's replaced by Gemma Evans. Melvine Malard makes way for Lucia Garcia and Hayley Ladd is off for Lisa Naalsund.

Bit of concern here for Millie Turner, she sits down on the grass and looks to be uncomfortable.

Captain Katie Zelem takes the opportunity to group her players and have a bit of a pep talk.

Chance for West Ham as Honoka Hayashi gets in a good position in the area but her shot is blocked by one of the many Manchester United bodies in there.

This second half has started much the same as the first did - bit frantic with chances at both ends.

The game did peter out in the opening period so let's see if this level can be maintained.

Ella Toone tries her luck from wide on the right 18-yards out but it's a simple save by Mackenzie Arnold.

West Ham have a chance at the other end as Viviane Asseyi's ball is whipped across the face of goal with Jess Ziu lurking at the back post but it's a Manchester United head who gets there first.

I'm not sure we'll be getting nine more goals in this game to match that Bristol City v Brighton thriller but you never know.
