Re. Aashour at 13:27. Who do you want mate? Pulis, Allardyce, Paul Jewell. Not a manager alive that would keep that team up. Aside from Trafford and maybe Fofana that is a Championship squad. Sack Dyche for progression. Be careful what you wish for. Just ask Everton.

Jacob Bruun Larsen loses the ball just outside his own box but, fortunately for the Burnley man, Bournemouth are unable to capitalise.

    Burnley 0-1 Bournemouth

Burnley have had 80% possession which must rank as their most in a Premier League game so far this season. They are patiently passing the ball around the edge of the Bournemouth area, but the visitors are keeping their defensive shape well.

This will be frustrating for the Burnley fans because they've not played badly, far from it, just poor defending again proving their undoing.

Aashour: I am Kompany's number one fan, and he has done great work at Burnley. But I think time has come to give an opportunity to someone else to try to recover the season.

Poor from Burnley goalkeeper James Trafford as his ball out is intercepted. Justin Kluivert gets into the box and cuts the ball back for Marcus Tavernier, who blazes well over.

A let off for the hosts.

Burnley have been the better team.

Vincent Kompany will be happy with the performance, but not with the goal they conceded.

We have seen it so many times with Burnley this season, they have to get the next goal.

    Burnley 0-1 Bournemouth

It is a decent response to going behind by Burnley are they win a corner off Chris Mepham.

Jacob Bruun Larsen plays it short before a driven low ball into the box looks dangerous before it is cleared by the Bournemouth defence after Maxime Esteve misses his attempted flick.

    Burnley 0-1 Bournemouth

Burnley work the ball well down the right before the ball into the box is just ahead of Jacob Bruun Larsen.

The Clarets are playing well without really threatening once they get in and around the box.

Burnley win another free-kick - their third of the game - as Vitinho is caught midway inside the Bournemouth half.

Jacob Bruun Larsen sends the ball into the box, it is cleared to Vitinho, who again pumps it in before David Datro Fofana air kicks his attempted shot.

Far too easy for Bournemouth. That lively, energetic start by Burnley wiped out in an instant by the boot of Justin Kluivert after Lewis Cook's pass.

Burnley want a penalty as Antoine Semenyo slides in Charlie Taylor inside the box. Replays show the Bournemouth forward got the ball first.

The story of Burnley's season so far they cannot defend. How can one straight ball cause so much problems?

    Fantastic finish from Justin Kluivert.

    Thumping finish!

But there it is again - an encouraging start for Burnley, only for the opposition to take the lead.

Bournemouth go direct as the ball is knocked over the top and Justin Kluivert powers through before smashing into the back of the net.

    Disaster for Burnley.

Justin Kluivert in action with Burnley's Charlie Taylor and Maxime EsteveImage source, Reuters

I've seen this sort of start before from Burnley only for it to be undone on the counter and Bournemouth twice go close in quick succession.

First, Charlie Taylor has to clear a dangerous Marcus Tavernier's cross with Antoine Semenyo lurking before Maxime Esteve clears under pressure from Justin Kluivert.

    Burnley 0-0 Bournemouth

Burnley win a free-kick now some 35 yards from goal. It is too far out for the shot really so the hosts attempt a somewhat fancy set-piece, but it doesn't quite come off as Jacob Bruun Larsen's eventual ball in is easily cleared.
