Manchester United goalkeeper Andre Onana is getting some stick from the home fans for the time he is taking to get the ball back into play.

Yesterday, IFAB agreed to a trial which would limit goalkeepers to keeping the ball for only eight seconds.

The trial can be started at League One level and below if the EFL asked for it.

I think some City fans would quite like it to start here, immediately.

That can't be a real opinion.

Rodri's shot was sneaking into that left hand corner of Andre Onana's goal - good save.

Fairly relentless from City. Kevin de Bruyne's cross is cleared to Rodri, whose shot from the edge of the area towards the bottom corner is well saved by Andre Onana.

Erling Haaland's first proper chance. He heads over from eight yards out following Casemiro's misplaced clearance after Diogo Dalot had deflected Jeremy Doku's cross into the air.

City are trying to isolate Doku against Diogo Dalot.

So far the Portugal defender is doing a good job holding Doku up. But he needs to maintain concentration because the City man is rapid.

Only six touches for City striker Erling Haaland so far. Admittedly he often doesn't need that many to score.

Man City are trying to find the pockets and there is no space as Man Utd are in a tight formation.

United are not budging and are forcing City to come forward.

Another City chance. Jeremy Doku has the ball on the left, drifts in and finds Bernardo Silva. The Portuguese flicks the ball back to him but Doku miscues his shot, well wide.

Erling Haaland slips on the edge of the box and Jonny Evans has the ball, with the United veteran then sliding in on Phil Foden.
