  1. 'Would Coventry take another chance if they got it?'published at 14:06 Greenwich Mean Time 16 March

    Wolves 2-1 Coventry

    Leon Osman
Former Everton midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

There will be at least another chance for Coventry today, but will they able to take it? It would become a massive moment in the club's history if so.

Gary O'Neil didn't have many options, but it looks to be a very inspired one. He's moved his best player to a No.10 role and put on the match winner at left-back.

  2. Postpublished at 90+3 mins

    Wolves 2-1 Coventry

Rayan Ait-Nouri, one goal and one assist to his name, looks to put this to bed by shooting across goal, but Bradley Collins has his angles correct to dive down to save it.

    Wolves 2-1 Coventry

    Leon Osman

Coventry have been brilliant all over the park and they will probably think they've deserved a victory today, but you have to take your chances.

  4. Postpublished at 90 mins

    Wolves 2-1 Coventry

Nine minutes of injury time for Coventry to rescue this one. Wolves aren't at Wembley just yet.

  5. 'Mark Robins looks stunned'published at 14:03 Greenwich Mean Time 16 March

    Wolves 2-1 Coventry

    Leon Osman
Former Everton midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

Football is just brilliant. Coventry just wanted to get to extra-time. Ait-Nouri drives and twists and turns, defenders falling over their foot. Bueno coming on at left-back allowed Ait-Nouri to play further forward. It was all set up for Bueno. Mark Robins looks just stunned.

Coventry know they should've been at least 3-0 up.

Heartbreak for Coventry. One up with seven minutes to go and now 2-1 down five minutes later.

Rayan Ait-Nouri, superb throughout, has one goal and now a brilliant assist. He runs at the home defence and has the skill to thread the needle with a brilliant pass to cut out two Coventry defenders.

Hugo Bueno runs on to it and calmly slots it past Bradley Collins for his first senior Wolves goal and to send the home faithful into absolute delight.

  7. 'It was always going to be Ait-Nouri'published at 13:58 Greenwich Mean Time 16 March

    Wolves 1-1 Coventry

    Leon Osman
Former Everton midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

Ait-Nouri was always going to be the player, he's had a really good day on and off the ball. Gomes makes the run into the right wing channel, Latibeaudiere makes a really poor attempt to clear it. It comes off both thighs, but it's a brilliant volley in.

  8. goal

GOAL - Wolves 1-1 Coventrypublished at 83 mins

    Rayan Ait-Nouri (Wolves)

Coventry were seven minutes plus change away from getting to Wembley.

It's poor defending from Joel Latibeaudiere as the ball bounces off his thigh and Rayan Ait-Nouri, who has been superb today, reacts first to slam the rebound beyond Bradley Collins and it's 1-1.

Extra-time is beckoning. Great cup tie.

  9. 'A brilliant attacking performance'published at 13:55 Greenwich Mean Time 16 March

    Wolves 0-1 Coventry

    Leon Osman
Former Everton midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

This has been a brilliant attacking performance, a good save. You'd think Ellis Simms was going to tap in for a second goal. Great defending from Max Kilman. Coventry will have no idea how it's only 1-0.

Jose Sa has been man of the match, Bidwell wraps around the cross and Kitching gets the touch, he couldn't do much else.

  10. GREAT SAVE!published at 13:55 Greenwich Mean Time 16 March

    Wolves 0-1 Coventry

Another wonderful save from Jose Sa, to keep out Liam Kitching's effort following Jake Bidwell's delicious cross from the left.

  11. Postpublished at 81 mins

    Wolves 0-1 Coventry

Wolves' Pablo Sarabia gets a yellow that would rule him out of any potential Wembley semi-final, if his team gets there of course.

  12. 'Coventry will be kicking themselves'published at 13:53 Greenwich Mean Time 16 March

    Wolves 0-1 Coventry

    Leon Osman
Former Everton midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

Another chance that Coventry will be kicking themselves at for making themselves more secure in this cup tie.

  13. Postpublished at 82 mins

    Wolves 0-1 Coventry

Ellis Simms is the match-winner as it stands and nearly gets goal number two. It sits up sweetly for him and it is a great connection on the half volley. But it is straight at Jose Sa and he shows great instincts to stick up two fists and block it.

Coventry come again and Callum O'Hare pings one at goal, with Sa this time diving to his left to again get his fists up just in time.

  14. 'Wolves have to score there'published at 13:51 Greenwich Mean Time 16 March

    Wolves 0-1 Coventry

    Leon Osman
Former Everton midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

Ait-Nouri has been absolutely everywhere, but Wolves have to score there, it's pretty similar to how Coventry scored at the other end of the pitch.

How on earth is Semedo not getting sent off there. His studs have marked the lads face.

    Chris

Aah, all VAR’s good work in correctly allowing the goal undone by taking no action against Semedo kicking someone in the face. Wolves should be down to 10.

    Gary

That could have been an absolutely horrendous injury for O’Hare. Can’t believe the ref didn’t give a free kick or even stop play for the head injury!

  16. HITS THE WOODWORK - Ait Nouri (Wolves)published at 78 mins

    Wolves 0-1 Coventry

Rayan Ait-Nouri runs around to the back post and heads it at goal from a tight angle, but the ball bounces off the left upright. Coventry escape. Wolves pushing to get the goal that could take us to extra time.

  17. 'Semedo looked surprised not to be punished'published at 13:49 Greenwich Mean Time 16 March

    Wolves 0-1 Coventry

    Leon Osman
Former Everton midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

I would give Semedo the benefit of the doubt slightly because he's tried to pull his foot away, but even he seem surprised that the referee didn't give anything.

  18. Postpublished at 75 mins

    Wolves 0-1 Coventry

Nelson Semedo is very lucky to not get any action taken against him. It's a very high boot from him and he clearly catches Callum O'Hare, who gets kicked in the nose with some blood appearing on the face of the Coventry man.

  19. 'A great save'published at 13:47 Greenwich Mean Time 16 March

    Wolves 0-1 Coventry

    Leon Osman
Former Everton midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

Great effort, a brilliant save from Collins in the top corner of his near post. He should not get beaten there, but it's a great save.

  20. GREAT SAVE!published at 75 mins

    Wolves 0-1 Coventry

Joao Gomes with a great strike for Wolves and it would have crept inside the post and gone into the top corner, but Bradley Collins acrobatically tips it around the post.
